Okay, after ADG temporarily took out his evil bone to create the All in distress way. That gave a chance for MY and other gods to destroy and seal him. He lost almost all his powers. This was not explained in the drama. But I saw this explanation in one of the discussion threads.
He apparently made a deal with Yiyue tribe (TTJ's mom's tribe) that they'll give birth to an evil fetus.
Also, this is my prediction of why he chose fetus from mortals. I think it is necessary for the evil fetus to live and die a miserable life for the ADG to take over his body. Immortal can't die with the evil bone.
