I hated so much her character in "Go Go Squid" which, according to me, gathered everything that can be unbearable in a female role that every time I see Yang Zi in the casting: I pass.
Except that I hate to be left with a bad impression, after all, she did what was asked of her (I hope). So if someone among you could suggest me one or two dramas where she excels (and especially which is light years away from Tong Nian), I would appreciate it very much!
The dubbed version will really spoil the drama., if you can follow subs... here is a link for the whole episodes.…
Ok, thanks, that's what I thought. But Gosh! What a bad idea to do this. I hope I'll get caught up in the plot to make up for those 58 weird episodes (yes I have a little obsession with some of the voices).

I misspoke but I watch the original version with subtitles on Viki. When I talk about dubbing, it's because it's obvious that the voices of the actors have been re-recorded (probably in a studio because of the muffled voices compared to the environment of the scenes). And I have a big doubt about the fact that it is the actors themselves who have re-recorded, at least for Lin Geng Xin it is really weird.
Note to self: never again watch a drama at the same time as its progressive broadcast! We're clearly on a Netflix syndrome, but waiting from one week to the next (or even a little longer for subtitles) to have only one episode to watch, that's a no-no!I honestly think that's why I had a hard time getting hooked on this series. The original idea was nice, especially since we were finally getting out of the high school/university pattern (God! Stop with that). Although the dentist is a bit creepy too... present in his patient's life (we understand why but the situation remains weird for a long time anyway). But, I don't know... I'll have to watch it again to see if my opinion changes because for the moment it's surely a drama I'll quickly forget.
On the other hand, I'm not going to make friends on this point but for me: the Alex/RJ duo doesn't work. I have my own theory on the matter, but I don't want the fangirls to fall on me... In any case, I don't think it's really related to the script and I even suspect some changes along the way which would explain the weird twist between the two characters.
I started watching yesterday and... what happened with Lin Geng Xin's voice? It's so weird even though it's a dubbing thing, it doesn't sound like he's talking. I don't know if it's the same for the other actors, at the moment I don't think I've seen other dramas with them. If it's like this all the way through, 58 episodes... it's going to be complicated for me!
I'm on episode 16 and I still want to slap the FL. I feel like I'm seeing Shancai (Meteor Garden - 2018), and when you know what I think of her... The falsely brave girl who brews way too much air. And as a bonus here: she sulks! What is the typical model for female characters? A 12-year-old girl? On the other hand, even if it is often off the mark, sometimes annoying: the ML has a thing...
If it ever screws up, leave me in denial: I want to see Zi Xuan and You Xia together! I was going to say that for once, FL's best friend is not too creepy and insistent. But Yin you're starting to mess around guy...
This drama is boring... or rather the FL is unbearable boredom. I think this is the first time I've wanted to give up a Taiwanese production. I'm at episode 4 and... Send me help! I was happy to be able to recommend a Taiwanese drama easy to access (Disney +, you know...), well... it's screwed up!
