I can't help thinking that While You Were Sleeping is just a remake of "I can hear your voice". There are way too many similarities and it's the same writer....
I loved this drama but the parallel between the two series was very noticeable.
I would call it a writing hack.

You could try torrenting on Avistaz. I think they have open registration currently.

To me this drama isn't really a medical drama, it's a drama about risk management and I would say it falls more under the Adventure category.
I'm the opposite of you. I don't enjoy many hospital dramas because to me they are kind of repetitive unless there's something added to the story that makes it really different.
(Yong Pal, Doctor Stranger, Good Doctor (though I dropped it mid-way), I would also argue it's a bit like Descendants of the Sun)
If it's not interesting to you by the 5th episode( episode 11) then I think you should drop it.

The subplot in episode 32-38 (currently watching) felt like the writer got bored with the original focus.
It's a shame I wish this was a 16 episode (32 episode drama). The extra episodes just dragged it out I think.

If you were able to suffer a bit through Ha Ji Won's last drama... then you can watch this one. Even me who isn't a huge fan of medical dramas loved this. Everything I love about Ha Ji Won's acting is in it.

And if your like me before the episodes are cut into 30 minutes each. So it's really only 20 episodes.

MAMA Ramyun :D I know it is Thai but I like it a lot better then Shin Ramyun because it tastes good without the spice and the spice packets are seperated

Melodrama have been very trendy these days in the international community which is surprising because I always remembered Comedy, Romance and Action ranking on top. However I know in Korea melo has great ratings

Same for me with Healer's "Eternal Love"

Where is Iris's "Don't forget me" is it too classic?

This movie gives a breath of life(taste of life) in a very unique way. As the reviews on here said the message conveyed in this movie relates to all of us. I found a copy of the movie on asiatorrents. I highly recommend watching this movie it can be a bit disturbing because of its sexual content but it's very moderate in that manner.

This movie has a really deep meaning and I encourage you to find a way for that meaning to relate to your life.

I am more excited to see the American remake of Good Doctor because tbh I couldn't get past the 6th episode. I really hated the female lead, she was not the right match for him and I was not sensing any chemistry. It simply felt like she felt bad for him. I also thought that the Korean version was focusing a bit too much on the hospital politics. It's been a long time since I watched Good Doctor though so I easily confusing Good Doctor with Doctor Stranger.

I did admire the portrayal of a autistic(ik its high functioning but it's still autistic) character in a kdrama but I just didn't like some of the characters.

I feel like the whole concept of Good Doctor can be easily translated into a American show.

I am downloading mine from asiatorrents.com I have found about 4 of them there and am downloading them there. Unfortunately you either have to find someone who will give you a invite to the website(which costs bonus points earned from seeding, a bit too much bonus points if you ask me). However there are sometimes open registration times where you can sign up. But always keep in mind when seeding that you have a ratio you have to maintain so it's best to download popular or gold torrents first and improve your ratio that way.

I enjoyed the comedic elements allot I watched it this summer and my god did I laugh allot.
