Thanks for the clarification. I didn't pay much attention to what kind of series it was, and while watching I had a feeling that the story might go in the same direction as in Your Name, so that's where my positive surprise came from.

I was expecting a typical ending, such as in CMBYN or your name engraved herein, and here we get the icing on the cake, where they become a couple. I wouldn't have changed my mind anyway, as if the ending was different, but I like to live in my delulu world, where every story has a happy ending.
OMG one of the best bl series I have seen. I can't believe it's a Chinese series that openly put the bl plot and they did it so beautifully, their every gesture, look, innocence and unexpressed desire... The only thing I can complain about is the very fast pace, you could easily make this a 12 episode series with 60 min each episode and I would still savor every minute. The Chinese know how to make subtle, beautiful stories, a game of looks, and may there be more series like this!
