idk why but this has lost steam for me.... i'm more excited for my royal nemesis or legend of cooking soldier.…
She's crahsing out because everything she did to help the VP in her awkward obssessive way ended up with the man she loves almost killing himself by drinking too much because he's still in love with his ex, the ex in question she's jealous of and wanted to get rid of is in a relationship with her near perfect ex that she dumped because of her terrible family. Her pride was a facade she's crashing out from the start, and I can undertand why. Her victim mentality reinfoces her sh*tty life and worst behaviour. She's to be pitied not hated. She's been consistent in her reckless obsessive ways.
The 180 they did in the SFL is so bad 🤧😭 she has always been the most levelheaded or sensible one, but all…
Since when was she levelheaded and sensible ? She's chasing after her boss despite his multiple rejection, she sent a tip to someone in an Audit department to get rid of In Ah because she was jalous. She has always been obsessed with her boss. She's always crossing boundaries with him. And all of it is in the first 4 episodes alone. She's not levelheaded and sensible, she's reckless and obsessive.
A Jeong's reasoning and everything is just too much and just too cliche. when she was living with Ki Jun she seemed…
that's kind of the whole point of the show that relationships are imbalanced and impulsive, Ki Jun had a monologue about it at the very beginning of episode 1. But people don't care about it, we had almost half the Audit cases about this subject.
Also one thing I am seeing people talking about how fast she adapted to the modern society. No she did not she…
at least 2 weeks, the ML says so in episode 2. Also she and the opportunity to learn how a phone work early on, the internet helps a lot to adapt. And her neighboors are nice and seem helpful. It's believable imo.
I have one main complaint about episode 40 ending. It's inconsistent with what the story wants for He Simu. Her whole journey was about her (re)discovering her humanity despite being forced to be the ruler of a kingdom she doesn't like at all. Her immortality is the biggest problem she has. She's a bird in a cage bound to eternally experience grief. The novel (special episode) ending is more consistent with that journey than the new ending imo. Especially the part where she can use her humanity to save him. He spent the whole show giving her things to the risk of his life, in the novel ending she gives something in return. She doesn't really in the ep40 ending. Changing the overall story to being a simp that was so in love that he gave anything for an immortal just to marry her, and her unable to do anthing to return the favour. But it's nice that they did the episode special for those who wanted the novel ending.
Despite my complaint it's not a bad ending at all. You could say the two endings are two side of the same coin. One side treat the story as a cautionary tale about the love between a mortal and an immortal and hopes for a good outcome. The other is an apology from fate for being so harsh, so that she who suffered 400 years and he who suffered for her can find peace at last.
if you think she date all of them in the same time then no. You see FL have a long life, but i think our immortal…
it's even less, she said int be spisode that she dated 22 men in 400 years but their year together don't even add up to 20 years. I understood it as she dated 22 men during 20 years of her 400. I might be wrong of course.
How was the princess royal? I have been holding back to watch, was it anything similar to this serie?
nah at least in the Princess Royal there is no romantically ambiguity between the FL and 2ML. It didn't bother me much because the relationship between ML and FL was very very strong. Don't forget she spent 17 years friends with him, good or bad he's family to her.
