Title Fragile
Also, I really like this extra scene between Kang San and Mi Na. Very little dialogue, but it still manages to…

Interesting thoughts.
I can see your points and from where you’re coming from. I would, however, say that one (big) problem of the show is its length. 6 episodes, each 24 min are, in my eyes, simply not enough to really adapt a novel, let alone addressing some of the themes in it in a proper way (I address this in my own review). Now, I would in no way urge or oblige you to read the novel, for a novel and a tv-adaption are naturally two different pairs of shoes. I just feel that, contrary to what you say and perceive, the show is neither romanticising their relationship nor glorifying either character. I would go as far as saying that it takes a rather neutral stance and leaves it to the viewer to interpret in however way they want it – and that, in fact, some viewers are the ones who do romanticise their story. But, isn’t that exactly what makes art so interesting? Also, we have to consider that the show revolves around teenagers/young adults – in this stage of life, everything is rather chaotic, and one is not quite able to draw a line between what’s good and what is not.
Anyhow, it was interesting to read your take on the show.
Happy Holidays.
