On the MDL page of Mirror Twin Cities, they already updated the airing schedule: Sunday to Wed. Likely 6 episodes…
That’s good to hear. Both dramas deserve a fair chance to reach viewers. Hope the plot ,actors, cinematography, special effects, and costumes will meet expectations. I’m a fan of Ren Jialun, but I support Dilraba as well. If MTC is good, I might add actors from that drama too.
Can someone provide me with the pdf of the novel (translated) i want to kill time untill the drama start
BTW, I’m a little slow so I had to read it at least 2 times to get all the characters straight in my mind. I could fully appreciate the plot after 4 times.🙃
I just finished reading The Blue Whisper novel (in anticipation of the drama airing soon), and absolutely love…
I also finished the English translation (again), in preparation for the drama. I agree that Reba and Allen are perfectly cast as the leads. Both can fully express the strength and devotion of the two main characters.
The translate is :Personally feel very appreciated. I don't know when, it seems that the kiss scene of idol emotional…
Thank you for the translated Douban comment. I hear about so many negative comments and criticisms posted on Douban about F&E that positive comments are overlooked.
I agree that actors are people who have personal beliefs and morals. They can set their own boundaries but also have to accept the consequences of their decisions. To me, if the production team and director are willing to work within the actor’s boundaries, then they feel that spending the money, time, and effort in making the drama is worth it. If they cannot work within the boundaries, then they should get another actor.
Allen Jialun Ren has been criticized for his role as ZSC. One criticism is that he should not take idol romance roles. IMO this drama is not for an idol actor. ZSC is supposed to be a plain, nondescript person in appearance with an inner beauty only recognized by Shi Yi. This is maybe his first drama I’ve seen (I didn’t see Detective Dee) in which he is not touted as the handsome, charismatic male lead who is being chased by beautiful women. I don’t remember anywhere in this drama that other characters acclaim how handsome he is, as is usual in pet idol dramas. BaiLu is the beautiful, attractive character, and Allen Ren is comfortable as the one “blending into the woodwork.” His facial expressions and body language show that. Yet he has touched so many viewers. Would love to hear other opinions.
Sad about this ZSC never asked her to do this she did it on her own maybe it feels him getting for the latest…
@Stephen Bowman. I’ve seen this in other Chinese and Korean dramas and I think it originates in Confucian beliefs. The husband is responsible for keeping his wife well, parent is responsible for children. When Qi Wan wants to step away from Madam of the Zhou family, she is taking responsibility for her son, Wenchuan.
F&E is a drama that I will watch again and again, especially after a stressful, difficult week. Like ZSC watching a drama 79 times, I can savor the Chenshi sweetness balanced with the bitter sadness and know they will end happily.
Shanglin Fu or imperial Park Rhapsody is one of the famous works of one of China’s most revered ancient poets.…
Thank you ! Those ancient poems had a lot of hidden meaning that make their relationship more complex. I could not quite understand how a staid chemistry professor collected Wu poems that were considered erotic. He even openly stated it.
I strongly agree. Collaboration benefits both sides. I hope more fans will support this.

And read the epilogues.

Wow, his schedule is packed. I wonder if he lost weight for his role in Qing Jun?
