Actually, three men fall for her. She is betrothed to one through family ties and the other is basically a bad guy (but you can't help but like him) and then there's the ML. But she does not reciprocate any feelings for the other two and she makes that clear on several occasions, lol. She develops bonds with all three for different reasons but she only has feelings for the ML and vice versa.

It's definitely there but not really the main focus. There's many things that keep them from really being together but they do have some sweet moments and you know they truly love each other. It does have a sad ending so beware. I prefer romance centered and happy endings and I still rated this high because the storytelling is masterful. Its both beautiful and tragic. It helps to go into this one mentally prepared, knowing that there are many sad and tragic moments. But, I think it was well worth it

So sad...yet so beautiful! Master storytelling and heartbreakingly good. I put off watching this show for so long because of the tragedy/sad romance tag. I felt like I needed to be prepared mentally before immersing myself into this story. And I wasn't wrong. It's indeed very sad but worth the watch. The characters and their stories will stick with me for a long time. Simply put, this show was a masterpiece.

Yes, that was a great scene!! My other favorite scene was when they are starting to try out being a couple and she is sending him off to work and she gives him his lunch she made and then gives him a goodbye kiss on the cheek and he grabs his heart and "falls" over. That scene is so darn cute!! It's such a simple scene but it made me smile so big! Wish I could find another show that gave me the same feels...

How's the romance in this one? The tag says slow burn romance and I'm not a big fan of slow, drawn out romances where you have to wait forever to see the couple get together...so just wondering how slow it is. And is the main couple affectionate or more reserved? Thanks in advance!

Unpopular opinion here but I don't get the second lead syndrome vibes at all. I think the SML was a bit of a jerk to everyone except the grandmother, especially in the beginning..... like when he is supposed to be a mentor, yet he just seems annoyed and put out most the time. Anyway, I really enjoyed how Dal-mi and Do- San were supportive of each other and how he put his trust in her regarding some huge issues during the beginning of their start-up. So, yeah, definitely don't understand all the hate for this show...but to each their own!

Same here...put it on hold due to all the negative comments and now I'm halfway through and just don't get where all the hate is coming from. From what I see in most of the negative comments is a trend that has to do with the second male lead. Saying they did him dirty or that he should be the endgame but I never felt that way while watching. Honestly, I think he is a bit of a jerk to everyone except the grandmother. I know this is an unpopular opinion but I don't see the hype revolving around the SML. I'm enjoying the show and I personally like the Dal-mi/Do-san pairing. I think they are supportive of each other and it's nice to see that dynamic. But, I dont like that either of the male leads is keeping the truth from her...and they are both equally at fault for that. So, anyway, I'm glad I started this despite all the negativity it's been receiving.

Ah, I think its time for a rewatch. And that's saying alot because it's rare for me to watch things multiple times. I'm jealous of all the kdrama watchers that get to see this for the first time. This is definitely one of my favorites!! Alot of people are put off by Gun but I love how eccentric he is. His antics make me laugh! And when he gets his hair cut....wowza...so dang sexy! Anyway, off I go to drool over Jang Hyuk and his adorable craziness

Korean BL's just keep getting better and better it seems. This one was pretty short but they still managed to make the story work for the most part. Kisses and chemistry were excellent! And I must say that the first time Shi On dances for Hong Seok...wow, I felt like an intruder into their very private and intimate moment (which is exactly what they were trying to convey I'm sure and they definitely succeeded). Anyway, I'm very happy to see quality BL's coming out of Korea...hope they keep it up!!

Aww...this was too darn cute! A big ball of fluff and I enjoyed every moment. It's short and sweet with lots of skinship. The main couple are just too adorable and every time they smile at each other it's the cutest thing. If you are looking for a quick show with lots of sweet moments, this is for you!

Any recommendations on another BL series that have an epic couple like TharnType?! I've only watched a handful of BL's but TharnType has the best chemistry I've seen so far.....and every time they are on screen together its mesmerizing. I do understand why season 2 was a let down overall but I did enjoy being able to see them together again. Oh, and, my second favorite BL would be Together with Me. They had amazing chemistry as well. Anyway, thanks in advance for any recommendations y'all can send my way!!

Ok, I have to say I've never loathed a character more than Seo Young Woo. I'm not a violent person normally but that chic makes me want to throat punch her every time she's on screen. I can't believe everyone around her lets her get away with hitting and throwing things at people. Please tell me someone steps up and puts her in her place at some point! Anyway, besides that, I'm on episode 3 and loving the darker themes and the music element. I'm not a big classical music fan but when the two main leads played together, it gave me the chills (in a good way). So far so good!!

Omg...the sex scene! I didn't blink the entire time. And, like you, watched it several times. Wow. Im speechless. One of the hottest kissing/sex scenes I've seen so far in Asian dramas. It went from on fire to very sensual. Damn. Thats all I can say. Still fanning myself over here.

Well, she was 16 when she died and its been 5 years so technically she's 21. Just cause her body isn't aging doesn't mean her mind and emotions aren't. This is a fantasy/supernatural show after all so that's not far fetched to think she has matured in the 5 years after death. Just saying...

Agreed! Lots of clichés in this drama and maybe thats why it gets so much hate ...but I enjoyed it, clichés and all! I was surprised at the amount of low ratings. I gave it a solid 8
