What’s with her acting?
I think it’s a cute drama and I will be finishing it even though some people have mentioned the last episodes are not as good. My issue is with the FL. I think she was badly cast. She has a villainous face. Her eyes are harsh and unsettling. I can’t get past her character in The Glory. I think she did a great job in that role. In this drama though she feels out of place. I know her character in this role is supposed to be a bit harsh and from a different era. But the way she walks and the way she constantly avoids eye contact with people when she’s speaking to them doesn’t come off as her being pensive or having a faraway or distant gaze which is probably what she was going for. It looks like a bad imitation of attorney woos autistic mannerisms. It’s off putting and makes me not enjoy her scenes in this drama.Was this review helpful to you?

What even happened?
There was zero conflict/story in this drama. What was even the point? Nothing happened.I didn’t realize it was only 8 episodes, so I was waiting to see what happens with the lawsuit, if his mom eventually accepted their relationship, what would happen with her ex etc. But then it finishes and nothing even happened. This is the first time in left wondering what the point even was of watching this. The main lead’s romance wasn’t even as interesting as her friends. I was more invested in the teacher/coach romance. Even song Pil was more interesting. I wanted to learn more about him. I was hoping he’d find a love interest too or success in his restaurant but they didn’t even develop/explore his character.
I hated Love Alarm and haven’t watched anything of hers since, can’t say I want to watch anything else she comes out in in the future. It was fairly enjoyable to watch but it didn’t develop into anything so I felt like I wasted my time.
