I agree of what you said of Bright seemingly jerky, unfocused facial movement. And part where Thyme nursing Gorya,…
Cheers! About the physicality aspect - its really about how a character is projected. One would expect a 6ft wealthy, temperamental guy to project a commanding aura, as befitting an F4 leader but he looked frail and his movements are jerky.
One can hope that this maybe High School Thyme (w his unsettled ways) and later on in the show, there would be character devt, and he would be shown as having grown up, w gravitas and maturity.
Hm. Seems pretty clear to me that F4 isn't led by Thyme because of gravitas (in any of the versions) but just…
Cheers! I only meant to note that they both have that star power. LMH got big budgeted Eternal Monarch made, while Bright was entrusted with a big drama franchise like F4. Just looking at the luxury brands supporting the show, tells us the kind of intl star power Bright have, close to hallyu levels power of LMH.
Bright is a star. Like Lee Min Ho. No doubt about this. I get cruel Thyme, confused smitten Thyme, childish Thyme. But what would it take for him to have the gravitas as lead F4?
For now, I would like to focus on physicality expected. It would be great if he was not too physically thin for this role (sorry he looked healthier as the sporty Sarawat in 2gether). He is 6ft but looks frail and not intimidating at all. So there are some scenes where Gorya looks like she can easily whoop him - the accidental kiss at the party, him catching her from falling w the gate.. That scene where he carried her was swoon-worthy, but he also looked small and might topple over from her weight.
The focus on his face - what a beautiful face it is. But I dont know if it was his own movements or the camera's but there is just too much seemingly jerky, unfocused facial movements so the feeling or mood he is trying to convey, doesnt really stay with us viewers. The scene where Thyme was nursing Gorya thru the night was composed of many tight shots - but his expressions are hardly hitting the marks, his surprise and avoiding the kiss when gorya suddenly moved closely to him. I wished the camera or his face would move with conviction, and decisively settle into a scene.
BrightWin was massively helped by the pandemic, and that explained the much larger viewership they received. But…
I think Bright has an inner depth to him - we get glimpses of that in Sarawat and Thyme - and its just a matter of time and effort on his part to ground his characters. Nanon and Ohm can seem do it effortlessly i cant imagine the inner homework they did, even for a simple story like BBS.

Thanks for your insights! I am watching F4 Thailand to see if the BrightWin magic still holds there, but the show doesnt require major acting skills i guess. I would like to see OhmNanon in a challenging drama, so they can really show how it should be done !
Just curious - is Big Buddy as popular as Together the Series? I havent seen Together during its peak popularity but seeing how massive BrightWin is as a brand, I wonder how Bad Buddy and OhmNanon compares in popularity, pandemic notwithstanding...

Sorry. Still watching. But just some thoughts.
From that logic, F4 is perfect for BW. F4 is a massive franchise (w its own fandom), makes sense for BW to take that on.
For ON, they can go this blockbuster commercial direction or they can be subversive and take BL on a diff trajectory.
