When they first introduced her character, she was sitting in the step with her friend. Her friend told her to marry him so she would have income and a father for her son. Her husband was killed by a hit and run. She seemed like an opportunist.. since then she hasn’t done anything remotely to prove otherwise. She seems to only care about money and that’s it.

I don’t like YS character. While I don’t know what part of the world you live in, it’s not always feasible for the man to be the only breadwinner. I say this as someone who was a stay at home mom, who works from home now that my kids are grown. I don’t like YS because she is a leech. The writers are not comparing DD to her mom. They are comparing her to SaRa. It was no accident we saw SaRa abuse the kids and DD saving them the next episode. SaRa is 100% certifiable.
