And I have read the novel too and so have some others here. The drama has been a very close adaptation of the novel and all the important parts have been included. Of course it wouldn't have been possible to include every single bit as it would become too lengthy for a modern romance. It could be due to budget issues too.

Itโs unfair to compare Mango with bigger richer platforms like Iqiyi and Tencent. And cruel to rate the drama down on that basis. There are artists like WZM making their name and earning fame through working their asses off on that platform. You are humiliating their efforts. If the production value is not to your standards then dont watch
