Im sorry but I get the feeling that a lot of you haven’t seen the YothaGun arc otherwise you would have known…
I agree with you in the case of Yotha but honestly Newton is a pretty bad brother in my opinion. In Yotha Gun' s arc, he let Yotha meet with Warit again and again , even though we know Warit broke his brother's heart badly. I mean he could show a smidge of protectiveness regarding it. Also he just sat and enjoyed his drinks whenever the confrontation with Klao happen. Like enjoying the drama from the sidelines doesn't really scream he cares.
And he seemed kind of indifferent to Faifa altogether. It feels like Faifa's lovestory doesn't have enough drama for him to enjoy and comment on.
I honestly think Yotha and Faifa are the ones who really care and love each other. And even though Yotha assumes a lot, he at least tries and thinks for Faifa. Newton couldn't even be bothered. That's how it came across to me anyways.
Okay I was totally hoping that Sun would crush Kim's fingers with those damn red shoes in the pool scene. I think it would make for an interesting scene in this whole lackluster plot. Or I don't know I disliked the show so much , I was imagining ways to elevate the scene in any unexpected way.
I love the fact that I can eat while watching this. For other series, I have to read the subtitles closely. In this , I can just look up once in a while and get a gist. And even if I don't, it doesn't really matter. Because the plot is moving at a snail's pace. Perhaps even slower.
I just can't with how dramatic this show is 😂 . I usually enjoy drama but there's no buildup here. The first episode scene with the family dinner and butler had me in stitches though it was supposed to be serious. Also the series feels like the epitome of 'tell , don't show'
