This daily drama is one of the best, so if you don't mind the format it's a good place to start.
Just keep in mind that the Japanese format is different from a soap opera or a telenovela. It's a true story and has some very tough storylines. It's full of hope but it's not shallow.

Why do they even bother? This is even riskier than the previous ones because it's so taboo. Do they really think that if a drama as wholesome as Blue Canvas got taken down, they won’t be with the pseudo incest???

*Nothing against the drama itself, if they move it to Taiwan I'll obviously put it on my PTW.

I added half a point to my rating because they didn't make the woman a female dog. Any drama that refuses to use this cliche deserves my respect.

Someone please let me know if there is any kind of slight romance here. I don't care if it's really not the focus, but I want something, even a hint.

It depends on the characters biography when it's based on a real person. Some people got lucky, but most of them lost more than one.

I did, WW2 is always a killer if they want to keep it real. Also, most asadoras span a few decades, so obviously some older people will eventually die. But the thing about asadoras is that they always find a way to make me smile after I've cried my eyes out, they can be sad but they are always hopeful and not depressing. Excellent writing.
