As a huge GFN fan for years I had big expectations despite the new storyline and actors. Turns out Becky did an amazing job, but it got watered down by the shit writing. I haven't seen such a bad and confusing making of a show in a while, do something about it, damn. Wasted potential and I still don't understand where did it go wrong
She was a huge hypocrite who kept claiming she's a girl's girl, but ended up sending a bunch of guys after Nanno…
If you watched the original GFN series, you'd notice that Nanno barely came to a school full of chaos, her purpose was to create it by making humans show their true colors. Sure, all of them seemed nice at first, but once she pushed them into doing something wrong, they gave in immediately. It's the same with this episode and series
genuinely what was the thought process behind episode 4?? what did Blossom do to deserve Nanno's punishment??
She was a huge hypocrite who kept claiming she's a girl's girl, but ended up sending a bunch of guys after Nanno to have sex with her because she got jealous.
i get the surface message behind this but can someone who understood ep 4 in more depth help me give their point…
To be honest I'm a bit confused right there as well, but it seemed like Blossom was a hypocrite, which was what was Nanno trying to uncover. Blossom kept claiming women's bodies and what they do with it are their choices, however once Nanno began to be more famous than her, she went against her and ended up sending all of the guys after her, which was basically supposed to mean "Your body was never actually something that belongs to you, it belongs to those guys who do stuff to you, for money or not." She claimed to be a girl's girl, but deep down was just like those guys and betrayed her, which means she's going against her own words. In the end, she ended up forcing her own self into continuing this cycle, being aware that those men are the ones in charge of her body and might destroy her just like they did with Nanno. It's somehow similar to the episode from the og series - Apologies. Just sends a different message.
