Tbh Chris and Arthur did an excellent job! I enjoyed their acting, especially Arthur. No cringe, just enough. The actor playing Arthur is seriously underrated and he needs more recognition and better opportunities.

I'm shocked to see this has 7.3 rating while HIStory4 has only 7.8. Seriously??? The actors in Y-destiny so far have not delivered convincingly enough. It's either over-acting or too-forced. The only guy who managed well was Chap from the eps 1 and 2. No wonder the guy also landed LW. He's got some skills. But everyone else so far has been so weird and unnatural. The plots are also so boring an uninteresting to watch.
Atleast in H4, the storyline except for the brothers cp is enjoyable. And the actors are so so much better! They really draw you in with their performances.
Honestly at this point I'm only looking forward to PerthTalay story. Hope the story would be good coz Talay is a decent actor. I haven't seen enough dynamic from Perth but hopefully we'll get to see something different in this series.

OMG!!! SO fucking true!! That dude is so underrated!!! He's so good with details and he really makes you hate him! I wish to see more of him in other series in more challenging roles. Lakorns are ~2 hour long complete stories produced by top entertainment agencies in Thailand like CH3, CH7, etc. It is Thai soap opera. Lakorn is way more popular amongst the domestic population than BLs. Which is why 90% of the actors in Lakorns are top-billed actors or actresses. Gulf is now part of the CH3 family and he has two Lakorns lined up. One with a superstar senior actress and the other with another famous leading lady. It is rumoured that in the former Lakorn, he'll be playing as James Jirayu's son who is a doctor. Lakorns are also aired during prime time right after the news. This is a brief explanation from what I've read and understood of Lakorns.

Lol don't apologise at all. I love soft porn in BL too. NC scenes are difficult to pull off in BL. The actors tend to hold back a lot. MG are the only couple that hit different for me. Gulf is so good at bringing life to those scenes. It's acting genius really. You gotta observe the micro-expressions on his face. It's what makes the NC scenes look so pleasurable. That's just my opinion based on my observations tho.

Yes. Precisely my point. During TTTS1 and up until maybe early 2020, things were going pretty well with MG and I do believe they had a genuine friendship going. But things began taking a hard turn right from NYE 2020. But even when their friendship was strong prior to that, they sold moments like crazy. Some of it was genuine - I'll give them the benefit of doubt but most of it was a recipe for disaster which would come back to bite them in the back later on and Oh it did now. Yeah TTTS2 was horrible despite the borderline soft porn. What a mess!

There is clear difference alright. Watch MG during their peak times. You'll know what I'm talking about. MG hits different than any other BL cp. Which is why they became so famous too. EarthMix have been friend s for 7 years so they are comfortable around each other and it's not the same MG vibe. The way G used to look at M during the peak of their ship is NOT the same way Mix looks at Earth. The interactions also give off a very different vibe. MG were very successful in bringing about a fantasy of sexual tension off-screen as well. I just want to say....the second season wasn't as good as the first. But it was still likeable. It started off well tbh. But for some reason, the latter half didn't hit hard enough. There wasn't enough intensity the Shi De/Shu Yi relationship. Like dudes you guys were separated for 5 -6 years and you're finally re-united. Personally the Zhen Xuan/Shou Yi storyline is what drew me in more than Shi De/Shu Yi. Chi Tian is an EXCEPTIONAL actor! It is so not easy to pull off Zhen Xuan's character. Idk if it's just me, but anyone who has watched Death Note back me up on this - you guys ever feel Zhen Xuan's character is VERY similar to L from DN? The way he sits, builds house of cars randomly on the work table, the way he holds the cup, etc.?
Anyways, he was a very interesting and likeable character and his love line with Shou Yi felt just right! It had an element of yearning and excitement that the main couple's stroyline did not have. And that was also one of my biggest turn-offs this season - that we didn't get to see more of them. But if they are planning to focus on this cp in the next season, I will gladly oblige. With a good script-writer, there is just SO MUCH they can do with this cp. Heck I dare say they could be the next BIG CP in BL history!
Also Bing Wei/Zhe Yu storyline barely got any screen-time. I was honestly caught off-guard with that marriage proposal all of a sudden. I mean for such scenes to make an impact. shouldn't the audience have more info on how their relationship developed to that point and the various moments they've gone through to reach that moment?

Oh no no no! You don't understand. FS is a money-machine! BL actors make way more through FS than the series itself. Allow me to shed some light. I am an avid observer of the MG fiasco. So I will use them as an example. This is going to be a long post so feel free to skip if you hate reading a lot.
1. In Thailand, Lakorn is more popular than BL. Hence BL is merely regarded as a stepping stone for newbie actors - to introduce them to the screens and amass a certain amount of fanbase so that these fans will support them in their future projects as well. It's basically a kickstart to their acting career. Mean from LBC and LBC2, Ohm from UWMA, and Gulf from TharnType are the examples for this (Gulf is an exception - his popularity shot up unlike any other BL actor - his rise to stardom is unprecedented! But you go boi!! WE STAN A TALENTED MAN!). Both Mean and Ohm did BL and then went on to star in Lakorns. Ohm still does BL once in a while; whereas Mean is signed under CH3 and is only into mainstream media now. 2. Naturally, BL actors don't get paid as much as Lakorn actors due to the above reason and also that the domestic viewership of BL is much less compared to Lakorn. So then where do they get all that money? Answer is - BRAND ENDORSEMENTS! 3. How do they get these brand endorsements? For Lakorn actors it's a piece of cake because every high end-brand wants them. For BL actors - it solely depends on their ship brand value. This is where I will bring in MG. MG burst out into stardom after TTTS1. They were signing on brands left and right. But most of these brands wanted these artists as a "couple" (cp) - eg: - Playmore, Haier, FreeFire, Ki's candles, Central Beauty Club, etc. These brands pay them A LOT! in return for endorsing their products. So the more popular a couple, the more brands want them. And how do they gain and maintain that popularity? Ding-Dong it's Fan-service! It's a corporate genius tbh!

EXACTLY!!! Fan-service is the absolute worst thing ever! Honestly it should be up to the actors themselves if they want to do it or not. MaxTul, RayTian, EarthMix are all good examples of "healthy" FS. MG is a big NO-NO! Look at the furore it has caused. You can't say anything logical about them on birdapp because triggered Waanjais will come for your ass. They cyberbully anyone who says that MG are not real, or they've had a fallout, etc. I come from a socmedia community where we discuss these issues at length with references, receipts from relatively credible sources. And it was already understood that the ship had sunk down to the Mariana Trench from even back in early 2020. I'm not going to name-drop but a lot of it has to do with one person being selfishly unprofessional towards the other party. All this just because of FS being taken to a level that blurred the lines between fantasy and reality. And now they've become the most toxic fandom out there along with another solo fandom that won't be named. Even after the artists announced that they will be going their separate ways, to this moment - I'm literally typing this after a visit to IG where I just saw WJ edits of M and G wearing the same bracelets!!! Can you imagine the level of delusion? B-R-A-C-E-L-E-T-S. That's their evidence for their relationship being "real". If you do a bit of research you'll see at least 26 other celebs wearing bracelets of that EXACT same design. SO what then? It's a harem now? RIP logic! Back to my point - to this moment, WJs still pester these artists and one of their agencies for MG content. WTF? Who does that?
I'm so thankful CIWYW addresses a lot of issues. The Motive Village shade is legit and I'm living fro it! This series deserves more appreciation than it is getting now. The direction is pretty good except in certain scenes like the car scenes for example. But I love a lot of other things about the way this series has been directed - all the foreshadowing (referring to the cap scene, and the exchange between James and Tee, and more). The actors are pretty good too - I am so fucking happy with the pacing and dialogue-delivery! Finally I don't have to flip my hourglass to wait till words finally come out of the actors' mouths. Saathu to that ??. It takes balls to make this series and Director Aam's got them alright! Exposing the industry left and right! We need this to become more popular! Finally a good series with a strong plot sending out powerful messages after ITSAY! So fucking glad!
