K-Drama Slow Paced
Korea knows how to make good & scary zombie movies. I haven't been disappointed by any of them that I've watched so far.
This is a slower-paced zombie movie, with most of the action being near the end, and it focuses more on the characters than the actual zombies. We mostly follow Jun Woo as he spends his days locked in his apartment, trying to survive with little food, water, or human interaction. It's not until around the middle that Yu Bin comes in, and the story finally starts to move forward. Everything that these characters did and how they reacted is how I'd imagine normal people would react in a zombie apocalypse, and they were living in a jam-packed apartment complex. This isn't a movie about trying to find a cure or getting to safety; it's a movie about bunkering down and surviving and hoping that help arrives in time.
The only part I found even a little bit ridiculous was the ending scene because where did that helicopter come from?
