I gave the acting a 4 because the panic attack was the only thing that stood out to me. Honestly, none of these actors got enough collective screen time for me to be able to 1) judge their acting effectively or 2) care about any of their characters.

I wanted to watch the movies but couldn't find them, and I've heard they make a lot more sense than this show. I wasn't necessarily confused, but I did wonder multiple times what the point was. Like, what message were they trying to send, or what were we supposed to gain from watching it? The answer turned out to be nothing. Because we weren't given any time with the side couples for their relationships to go anywhere, let alone make sense, and we got a trauma dump from Takumi in the very last episode that felt like a homework assignment I was assigned last minute from a class where the teacher never taught.

That doesn't even make sense, but you know what, it suits the show weirdly enough.

This was a series that can't stand on its own, and it barely tried to.
