Does anyone also see some parallelism to the little mermaid ? I mean the original tale by Hans Christian Anderson? The premise of her friend turning into a human and still everything being a misery to her is very similar to that. Even the dagger given to the mermaid by her sisters to kill her love and become a mermaid again is the same concept shown here. I am afraid i think this will have a similar bittersweet end like the original tale..ðŸ˜ðŸ˜
