"Night Has Come" is such a trashy show that I had to create a kisskh account just to rant. It's a disgrace to the survival game genre. They might as well have copied those Japanese werewolf game movies where students get kidnapped just for the mastermind's sick pleasure of watching them kill each other, instead of trying to justify why this Mafia game happen.

I can at least tolerate those werewolf games movies because they don't pretend to be masterpieces. But this kdrama? It's like they're trying so hard to be deep with their character plots, but it all come out mid.

And don't get me started on the acting it's mediocre at best.

Now that I've said my piece, I'm never touching kisskh again. It's just gross website filled with the same type as Twitter ones

Also the romance between FL and ML? Where's the chemistry, seriously? It feels like they're trying so hard to make us believe in their love story, but it's falling flat. I found the relationships between side characters like mean girl sidekick couples or jock and police way more believable and natural. Those couples didn't feel forced; their connection just flowed naturally. You know what surprising? FL and Robotic girl sismance vibes way better. Their chemistry is off the charts compared to FL thing with ML. Their interactions feel more genuine and filled with chemistry. Even though FL's clearly into her bestie ML, you can't ignore how robotic girl keeps giving ML the side-eye whenever he's around FL. I was sure they were setting up robotic girl to secretly have feelings for her or something. But nope, turns out she's just an AI character to represent the girl who commit suicide.

The parents putting everyone through that vr time loop thing seemed so cliché to me. I get they wanted revenge…
Also Mafia game as punishment? Out of all the options, they picked a detective type game? It's like, "Here's your punishment, now go play detective forever, hahaha!" It makes zero sense. If they wanted to scare them, why not throw them into a horror game or something? How is playing Mafia supposed to make the main culprit feel sorry for what they did to daughter? Are they trying to turn these kids into expert liars and make them even more ruthless? Because if that's the goal, mission accomplished. Headphone guy, mean girl, bully leader—they've all become even worse, especially the headphone guy. The whole thing seems totally counterproductive. I get they want justice for their daughter, but this game seems more like it's creating monsters than teaching anyone a lesson. Instead of making them regret what they did, they're just getting better at lying and sneaking around. It's like punishing a thief by teaching them how to be a master thief.

The parents putting everyone through that vr time loop thing seemed so cliché to me. I get they wanted revenge for their daughter's suicide, but their method was way over the top. They kidnapped the whole class and threw them into this traumatic game, blaming almost everyone for what happened to daughter. Sure, headphones guy made that deepfake video, and bully trio made it worse by blackmailing headphone guy to spread it around. And yeah, the mean girl and her crew were awful bullies too. But punishing the entire class? Most of them were just bystanders that laughed at it. Even their daughter's best friends FL and ML who doesn't know anything at all. Did they all deserve the same punishment as the main culprit? Like, what kind of messed-up logic is that? And why only punish the students? What about the teachers who should've known what was going on in their school? They were responsible too, right? And the parents themselves—shouldn't they have noticed something was wrong with their daughter before it was too late? Plus, if they're loaded enough to set up this fancy VR kidnapping, why didn't they use their resources to help Se-Eun when she was alive? They could've easily deleted the deepfake, traced its source, and taken legal action before things got out of hand.

Why are the characters so cliché? The lack of loyalty among them cranks up the cliché factor to the max. The friendships feel weak and totally disloyal. I get they're all trying to survive, but it's just... ugh. Take the fat guy, for example. He felt completely betrayed when his friend voted against him just because he had a stab wound. The mafia could've easily framed him with that injury! Use your 1 braincells for once. Headphone guy seems way more suspicious, especially after FL and ML caught him trying to delete something. Honestly, the only ones who seem genuinely loyal are trio main characters. The two bully dumb blonde friend and the curly-haired buddy are surprisingly loyal to the bully leader too. And that sidekick mean girl and mean girl? Don't even get me started. The amount of backstabbing and flip-flopping with those two was just too much to handle.
