Fandoms work a lot to make data. Kelulis are young, lots of them had exams during TLI airing, couldnt be as active as they usually are.
Tencent kinda sacrificed TLI, the slot wasnt good, but I guess they didnt care much as drama wasnt their production. They had only streaming rights and they were shared with Mango TV
For an average IP, not a brilliant post production, with data split and a bad slot, TLI managed to break 37 mil/ep in heat period (cumul 43) . Still in top 10 of 2024. ZLS has a solid drama fans base and drama fans didnt disappoint.
But I hope/expect more for Pearl
Of course I want a good post production, but a bad slot also not good. If we want them both, this drama should come in late spring -summer of 2025. ...which wont happen.
I believe, as far Pearl is Youku's own baby, they will manage to do their best. But who knows

About YZ, I really dislike him badly. What I can say about The Double (which I really liked, but definitely not at the level I like LLTG): take a look at camera work. So alike in both dramas.
ML’s 2 bodyguard 1 is funny 1 is serious. He also told the funny one to get his own punishment (hit on the bottom) just like how LBY punished AFei
Yu Zheng kinda smart, he copied bits from here and there. The mandarin dialogue between ML and his bodyguards are almost identical to when LBY ask info about CSS.

The Double did good. Wonder when or if they will break 10 billions views as LLTG. They didnt do as good in sells. And I definitely await the awards ( my own bet is on popularity awards, as LBFAD get in 2022). Till 30 quality awards LLTG got is very long way and not easy for The Double

actually it is a good drama, one of the best of 2022 (called officially National Drama and The Dark Horse of 2022). Got over 30 awards for quality (best drama, best adaptation and screen writing, best cinematography, best directing, best actors in leading role, best actors in sec roles etc). It broke 10 billions views
However you may not like it and it's ok, just drop it. It's more about what we feel watching a drama/movie than how good it is. Watch something that can bring your joy.

last rumor from melon master: drama has original script, not exposed to public before, good prod team, good dir. If prod team will manage to finish unsolved prod matters (ref to settings), shooting will start in October. If not, Lusi will take another project then will return to this certain one

for eyes she uses eyelids tape lately, also she learned how to contour her nose to make it look thinner. There also are nose tapes, but i didnt see her using them in her vlogs
"Light surgeries" for nose are those done for nostrils, which require cartilage cuts in 3 zones. Any cut of her cartilage destroys the particular/specific feature her nose has (the groove in the middle of the cartilage). Lusi has tons of pics were that special feature of her nose can be seen easily . It's still there :)
