There is no grooming, DJX was kind with her and treated her well coz he has a kind nature, he didn't do it while he was waiting her to become an adult to finally get her, they met accidentally, after years of no communication. And honestly, even if he liked her when she was 17, the fact he kept in in his pants and didn't do anything to encourage her feelings, didn't gave a hint of his feelings, didn't try to corrupt her young mind in any way, make him a green flag. Why it isn't the case: aside the clear lines, if DJX would had feelings for SZ when she was 17, we should see his fight with himself, about morals, we should see his pain as a torture, coz char is described as a good person
