I dont wanna imagine what you'll do if she'll take a drama where her char is evil/ villain or red flag to the bone:)
ZLS did great in this drama, her char is diff from her past chars and she nailed it. She's an actress who dared to take a mature, multi layered role and got praise for her acting, at only 26. She set a high bar for young actresses, who try to break free from Idol dramas and cute or AI acting

first-there are tons of haters with n alts sec- some ppl wanted a stronger romance line, but LA is an urban drama, it has those parts about business, cultural heritage thr- chinese loved the comedic arc, treated it like a parody (tons of memes, parodies, dancing douyins etc) while int audience didnt like it as much. It's maybe the first cdrama I saw with such a 180 grade turn in the middle of the story telling. For many ppl was wow, for others it was too unexpected :)
