Idk what happened to him between hs and college but drake sucks more than usual. alys is so valid in her feelings - this is what situationships look/feel like (i've been solo my whole life too tripp 😉🤭)
i came to watch this drama because of MDL publicity on "Mulan-like cdrama". i didn't eve see the trailer, and patiently waited. i loved each episode and enjoyed every scene, not one character annoyed me more than usual.
i don't normally watch historical cdramas (fiction of non-fiction) unless they are fantasy, very into wuxia realm, because the last time i did, i had a crazy headache caused by the frustration from the character's situation in the series, it was angst overload (damn what is wrong with me).
anyway, the point is, i was very curious and a bit sceptical but ended up super satisfied with it. the love story is so well-built and the action scenes are amazing (imho), i got a lot of satisfaction from the way the fl actress delivered the speeches about justice and women's capabilities!!
also, this woman... omg, HER EYES!!!! her eyes game is too strong, i felt it all!!!! i love when actresses play with their glances to give extra depth.
i'm so sorry for the boys, i only had eyes for her. but i guess the ml actor was good too he has great chemistry with the fl. it was my first project with these actors and i'm happy with it.
reeeeally hope to see them together again!! please c-directors, c-casters, get the hint and throw them together AGAIN!!!
i see many people dislike the series, but it's more based on their own expectations for it than the drama itself being bad. so if you're reading this to know if you should watch the answer is yes!

I feel for him in 'Oasis', I was so conflicted because he's hot as hell, but his character was trash, and then I saw 'Once upon a small town' and his smile grabbed me. And now I get to shamelessly check him out in head over heels and just like the comment below says his sexiness and rendered me head over heels for him. hahahahaha nah seriously. I'm now watching 'The tale of lady ok' because someone on the clock app said he becomes a loser yearning for his beloved, I HAD to see that. any way here's my appreciation post
I was very sceptic about Lance playing Clyden, for no good reason other than i imagined someone different and since he's younger than her playing as a older guy. But he's doing a very good job, he acts very mature. Sam show her more immature side here so it helps and aubrey too she portraits sam so well, it's satisfying.

but i do think that when secondary characters talk, they always say such improbable sentences and in the most NPC way possible. all filipino drama's have it 😂😂
Finished! yay! started as a filler to avenues of the diamonds but stayed because they killed the 1st episodes of the series execution was 100% (acting was usual for a filipino drama). i don't know how to feel about the 4 last episodes... all i'l say is this episode everyone did JJ dirty. my girl is suuuffering, like girl is crying over being exchanged for helping funds in the company but aunty comes to cry talk 'bout some hope. fu you aunty Gemma! and Kuya Angelo! the families especially, actually no mr. redhead hanamitchi fuuuuu you because you got everyone riding for you but you messed up biiig time wdym taking care of obligations??? boy finish school 1st maybe? then obviously kf wwakes up from being in the nile (denial) and declares his love to JJ right after she becomes his bff's fiancé, what a timing JJ STAND UP!!! stop pleasing people and do what you want girl! season 2? idk if i'll watch... fighting!
