This is the first Xiao Zhan drama I've been interested in watching, and let me say I'm OBSESSED! He's so charming on screen you can tell why he's super famous and loved.

Possibly an unpopular opinion on here, but Zhu Yan is absolutely my fav character. I get really tired of the annoying naive, high-pitched FL. But with Zhu Yan she's super, determined independent, witty, and all her actions have a justifiable motive. Her nativity comes from her lack of education due to being from a "rural region". Her pestering the ML is because she wants to help bring back someone who died wrongfully. Although she's not the brightest academically, I like how they portrayed her as street-smart and someone who's determined to learn and better herself. Ren Min is doing a great job!

I love how this isn't a typical master-disciple relationship. There's no huge power imbalance, and both characters have many different sides to them. Instead of a "teacher", Shi Ying feels more like a tutor, much more down to earth.

As someone who gets really disinterested in dramas quickly, I've binged watch all 12 episodes, and I can't wait for more! I didn't expect to enjoy it so much and I am surprised it's so good.

Ι love Zjin's and Ziping's friendship!
Minus the part when Ziping tried to strangle then attempted to stab Zijin with a pair scissors. Other then that their super cute! LOL

Does anyone have the link for Ep 6 and onwards with proper subtitles?

The first 5 episodes properly subbed are on Youtube with an Asian VPN. One episode is subbed a day on there.

Can someone tell me If this is worth watching? I usually don't like dramas with swapping bodies but I see that…
This drama is an absolute gold mine! I too am not the biggest fan of switch dramas, but this one is VERY GOOD.

The episodes are so funny especially the background noises and sounds.

What's also great is that they're not switched the whole time during the show. They switch, then switch back to their original selves, then trigger the switch again through an intimate moment. Its a great back and forth balance!

So you get both of them being hilarious in switched form along with them being more normal, genuine and intimate in their true form.

The show really doesn't put any heavy emphasis on the relationship between the supporting casts. The main leads are very much the CP and you won't get 2nd or 3rd male lead syndromes as the relationship is pretty clear between all of them. Although the 3rd male lead is quite adorably pitiful at sometimes. But everything is very lighthearted.

Their's only 26 episodes so its a short binge, with 14 already out. If you start watching at a steady pace right now, by late next week, you'll almost be done the drama! 10/10 recommend!

You realize the main male lead was 25 when filming this right...? LOL. 30s isn't that weird, but with how young…
Yoon Eunhye was 21 and Ju Jihoon was 23. Im in no way saying 30 is old, but for a very chessy highschool teen romance, casting people in their 30's that look like grown adults would kinda be uncomfortable to watch knowing the source material.
Song Jihyo was 25, but she is literally known for having a baby face, and Min Hyorin was more "mature and elegant" than the typical highschooler.

I watched the first episode and it reminded me of Sky Castle, does it have the same plot?
I thought the same thing too, but the really only similar thing is parents doing anything and everything to get their kids into university.

Sky Castle focuses on the parents more than the kids, whereas Penthouse does both, actually and give the kids their own plots and storylines. Sky Castle showcase the dark and toxic side of the Korean Education System, and Penthouse is about the rich and privileged using money and influence to step on the poor, and getting themselves a better standing in life.

You definitely see similar characters of course like:
Cheon Seo Jin and Han Suh Jin
Bae Rona and Ha Eunbyeol are definitely a combination of Kang Yeseo
Min Seola and Bae Rona have traits of Kim Hyena
Minhyuk's and Jennie 's Moms are like the Jin JinHee of the group

The main point of the plot is solving and arresting Min Seola's murders and everyone that has something to do with it, along with the repercussions they face. BASICALLY A BIG REVENGE STORY AND A WOMEN GOING FROM RAGS TO RICHES!
