Hope they kinda at least keep the essence for Elteber as he was such a delight in the manhua even more in his relationship with Chang Ge and Sun...Elteber and Chang Ge were amazing and hilarious together and their jabs at each other...

I'm more curious why are they all there because it looked like they were not in Tang but in Mobei...The marriage was adressed since ep 1 even if it was a diversion back then but Leyan was meant since she became the Princess to marry into Ashile,she just dodged the bullet with that pretending that she was sick...Guess they couldn't pretend no more nor prolong the lie...Basically because she is the princess she needs to marry as that was the pact between the two countries...Just like in the past Sher Mother more than sure did as well...

I think he calls him 'Ge ge " mainly because he is older than her and because he is the friend of Chang Ge who more likely is the same identity as in the manhua...Kinda sad now that they didn't keep the looks of her Mother the same...Really they at least kept Elteber interaction with Sun the same...

Usually tvN does like 5/6 eps with a lenght of 1.24 ~ and after cuts it to the usual 1.10 h for their 20eps shows...

I actually felt sad for him,he either ate bad food or wasn't let to finish his meals...Makes me remember Hwang Shi Mok from Secret Forest(Stranger) that was the same...

Kinda curious that Jang Jun Woo(Taec) has the same family name as the Boss of Babel aka Jang Han Seo(Kwak Dong Yeon)...Curious if he is his older brother and the one controlling everything in the shadow,the man that we saw playing hockey...That would be a fun twist...

I also so it as well and basically the story till episode 19 is that as Bong Hwan in the Queen's body is the main of this story,So Yong never was meant for more but they played it safe and out of the blue she came back and got her happy ending.Even more after episode 13 when they showed her "dead" resting at the bottom of the lake...

Basically So Yong as in the original story provided the memories as the context for Bong Hwan to operate and story going...Somehow i doubt till the last 2 episodes the writers even intended to bring So Yong back from the dead...The one who used the informations that So Yong memories provided and how he acted in those situations,the mannersim,the way of thinking was all Bong Hwan,he was the main lead of this story that was told(guess for some it's even more easy as the one having the happy ending is the same face as the one we saw all this time and rooted even if characetr isin't,but u know visual can be more mistleading).Even he said it,adding it again in the Special Episode,that he liked and had feelings for Cheoljong and it wasn't just because he was controlled by the feelings of So Yong,but he did use that card when he didn't want to confront his feelings as his coward side that was gain part of his journey and basically the theme of love can know no gender as well,he ende dta loving him not as a man or woman but person to person.

Still,So Yong just provided the information aka her memories for context,plot - wise and part of feelings for Cheoljong(as it was actually for the original as well),the rest as how The Queen acted in all this situations using this informations,decisions made,mannerism and so on were made by Bong Hwan.They mostly got her back to keep it safe and give a book wise happy ending as her soul clearly lied resting on the lake.
