I'm confused about why are the actors different, didn't Victor Ma portray that character in hidden love? If this series wasn't connected to hidden love I would understand why the actors are different but it says it's a sequel to hidden love so obviously is connected. The thing about Chinese dramas having a sequel is that they always change the actors of season 1 and have other actors portray a character that appears in season one with a different actor, which always annoys me since I get used to the characters from season one and not only that they always add unnecessary stuff on the plot or change the plot and have no connection with season 1. If that happens with this series I'm going to be disappointed since season 1 was a good.

I think there will be a GL couple cause I know that in the book there is a GL couple. Second I think they cut the series into 8 episodes cause of the steamy scenes since almost all of the novel was steamy scenes and not really communication so I’m guessing they are maybe changing that.

Although I really recommend reading the novel!

I am really hoping this series doesn’t disappoint and I have noticed that this year have a lot of steamy bl drama…

If y’all can’t find the novel on wattpad in English then they probably took it off cause they are maybe working on the translation, I hope that helps for the people who are wondering.
