Han Seok Kyu is my favorite Korean actor so far. TWDR had him and Song Joong Ki playing the same character. Here's a game, name another drama with those level of talent on one character.
This show is an example of a good script in the hands of a sh!tty director
@Kestrel I liked the drama despite some complaints and I tend to judge kdramas in a lax way so I gave this an 8.5. A few things though stuck out after the end. What about PMY and her mom? Satisfactory retribution for the bad guys? etc.
As of now it is at a 9.2 which is highly overrated but don't tell that to the stans. It is a good kdrama though.

@kestrel Some bad camera choices, bgm not matching the scene, a few badly acted scenes. It goes on if I really want to get picky, I like the show but sometimes the odd choices holds it back.

@Patketina I actually laughed out loud at your response, do not invest so much of yourself to one show or actor, it's bad form. I never said the show was bad, all I did was voice my opinion. It's an entertaining story, a good show but it deserves a better director. Now I shall retreat with my "hateful soul".
Soooooory but I don't think that lee sang yoon will rivalise with Matsuda Shota... seeing the 2 first eps, I'm…
People go on about Matsuda Shota's character, but looking at it in an unbiased way, that was a one dimensional character. All he did through out the series was stay silent and act smart.
Some of these comments are pathetic. "Girls sometimes lie, just saying. Not implying this girl did though!"…
The people who truly disgust me in these celebrity violent cases are fan girls. Yes, girls sometimes lie n ribs can be broken in different ways but he did admit to hitting her once(most likely more than once, my opinion).
Once is more than enough, their text messages talk about bruises all over her body and him giving an apology. The appearance of violence in a relationship is a resounding NO. I don't care if he is your "bias", the truth is you really don't know him.

It starts off slow, builds up towards the middle then crashes into a stale mess

Why did you have to spoil East of Eden? I read your comment even after the spoiler tag because I'm up to date on Endless Love.
Thanks for ruining East of Eden on the side.
