I actually enjoyed VP and Ghost. I am a junior in computer engineering(software) so I found some of the things in Ghost amusingly unbelievable. That said, it still had a good run.

I just got my big sis into Korean dramas (strange when a guy gets a girl into Asian dramas)and she is currently watching Empress Ki. I plan to watch it as I am a fan of Ha Ji Won but I have been watching american and british tv shows of late.

It is more Criminal Minds than VP or ghost. Dark and gritty.

Haha, watch the finale with a teddy in hand and then squeeze real hard with your eyes shut when the unpleasantness happens.

Cruel City is actually one of the rare cases where in the show never drags and is concluded in a satisfactory manner. Something I can't say for all Asian dramas.

Special Affairs Team TEN is a good one, it was one of those series that took me a while to give a chance but it blew me away.

You need to see Cruel City, like TEN it is one of those kdramas that doesn't seem like a kdrama.

Don't get your hopes up about a Korean remake of TWD, licensing fees and such would be astronomical right now. If it does happen it would be many years into the future.

You should watch Luther also, Idris Elba is great in it. Regarding A Frozen Flower, seeing more of Song Ji Hyo is never a bad thing. I don't think Korean actors have the muscle built for Spartacus, it's mostly androgynous men or slim men on kdramas.

Ha, I literally laughed out at your comment regarding Spartacus. I did warn you about its gratuitous sex and violence.I'm trying to imagine a Korean remake of Spartacus shot for shot and it's quite amusing. They would ban the hell out of that.

I feel the Mentalist is an underrated crime(not too serious)and since you like crime, it's worth a shot. Sherlock is also good.

PS: I hope you are 18 or over, if not, *Wags finger*

Sorry for the late reply, Game of thrones is not as gory a Spartacus but it is gory. It is going to take me a while to finally watch infernal affairs because I have seen The Departed. I already know what the payoff is so the suspense wouldn't be that effective. Also it has been a while since I saw a movie, it's all TV for this young fella.

Recently watched Ghost (kdrama version), have you seen The Mentalist or Sherlock?

I watched TVD because people said it was better than True Blood. It is an okay show, I am just not a fan though some side stories were quite good. Like you, I dropped it around the time after her turn.

I haven't been that interested in anime since I was a kid.I do watch from time to time but the last one I saw had too much sexual overtones for characters that were supposedly 12 year olds. It felt like I had stumbled on a show made by pedophiles for pedophiles.

For my animation fix I am currently into Archer, I highly recommend it. Haha, British people don't only speak English, they can claim the rights to the language.

I have seen the second season of TEN and eagerly await the third as I believe there should be one. It is one of the rare Korean shows I believe can contend with international shows.

Haha, just try reading the first chapter and I guarantee you will find yourself engrossed. Game of Thrones is much better than Spartacus. It's on that Lord of the Rings level, an epic story where no one is safe and even the bad guys are rooted for.

With Spartacus I also don't mind sex and violence, but in some episodes you get the sense that without those; there is no story.

I watched the first episode of glee and could not stand the cliche story, horrible acting and actors looking 10 years older than their roles.

I wouldn't say picky, of recent I have enjoyed family dramas, romance and historicals but that is just what I like at the moment.

You should definitely watch game of thrones, but I would advice you read the books first.I am not trying to come off as snobbish but there are a ton of characters and most people get lost watching it.The book goes in depth and family histories and back stories are a blast. Haha, I love GOT.

Spartacus is also good but be warned the sex and violence are gratuitous.

I am an avid fan of American Tv, though I watch jdramas, kdramas, swediish, British, Latin, Chinese and Taiwanese dramas I stand by the fact that American Tv shows are the best.

If you ever need American Tv reccomendations just tell me what you like.

Yeah Potato star is a Kdrama, I watch any kind of kdrama except the ones that have the whole bullying is love bullshit. There are also some actors I try to avoid.
I do watch walking dead, it is huge in the States also.

I have been on a historical fix lately but what holds my interest now is Potato Star. I enjoy long dramas sometimes, I'm referring to over a 100 episodes. Seen the mid finale of the walking dead?

Definitely, he is one of my favorite too. Saw him first in Cruel City, then TBDW and then Smile you. I am a guy so i don't see him as 'sexy' but he definitely can act

Are you watching it raw? I had to stop at 118 because I couldn't find it subbed. I can already sense the dread of it ending
