Iirc it was never explained in the books, only that he'd come into contact with something inside a tomb. If they're trying to be more book accurate, then it's left open, but we can kinda infer it happened during his and Fatty's hallucination with the corpses maybe.

No BL or romance, bromance beginnings between the characters.
I thought it was pretty good, a decent adventure story and really good production values.

Really nice production, lots of action and great characters. But I can't help thinking, these guys find two amazing tombs that would be world wonders, yet somehow they end up destroying both of them on their way out!

Title Queen Woo Spoiler
Well made show, good acting made for interesting characters and the plotline was certainly a game of thrones, all taking place over the course of one night, so the pacing was good too.

My only gripe was they never tell us who killed the King and how and the list of suspects by the end was very low. My own speculation is that it was Queen Woo herself. Maybe we'll get an answer in S2, if there is one.

Can you spoil it for me if yoo seung ho's character dies at the end ?
I'd say he's more antihero than antagonist. The villains are pretty clear, but his character is torn between fate. Hope you enjoy it : )

Title Death's Game Part 2 Spoiler
Good series, Death was great, in fact all the characters were interesting. The only thing I want to know is, when he got his second chance, did he go save the baby??

I think the neohumans are what happens post monsterization. People turn into a monster reflecting their inner desire, once the desire is gone, they turn back into humans but without emotions.

Title House of Ninjas Spoiler
I hate the fact that she's a shinobi and supposed to be bad ass but she's super slow and weak. Annoyed the hell…
One thing I'd say for the show, it didn't make every female an unlikely super hero. She's young, she hasn't done any missions since the family quit before she was old enough, she hasn't killed anyone either so it's probably all still a game to her. There's definitely levels of skills in the show and she has a long way to go.

Can somebody spoil me, please.... I really want to watch this but I realise it's not listed as a limited series.…
It has an ending where some plotlines are resolved. Others aren't and new ones are set up for a potential Season 2. I wouldn't say it ends on a cliffhanger, but you'll probably end up wanting S2 anyway since the series was good.

Rewatching this! I agree with much of @amitra828's review above (minus the stuff about the FL; I cringed whenever…
On something of a re-watch as well and agree with everything.

If re-watching the ending of 29 still comes with a sting, the show was accompanied by a two-part novel by the screen writers. Obviously there were some differences, the show production had a fair few episodes added to its schedule, hence the hot mess, while the novel ended shorter. The ending of the novel is very different, I would say nearly everyone got a far better deal than in the show.

Title The Deal Spoiler
I don't understand why did "Song Jae Hyo" sold "Lee Jun Seong" to the Loan shark at the end? was there a purpose…
Jae-hyo wanted to go back to being a medical student, but Jun-seong wanted them to go abroad. Jae-hyo had obviously lost the plot, but he was a ruthlessly cunning sociopath and saw a way to get rid of a partner in crime, by using criminals to kill Jun-seong.

Title The Deal Spoiler
This is going straight to my favorites. It's a shame that it's so underrated and unknown. I recommend it to everyone…
Min-woo was definitely the victim at the start, even if he was the recipient of dirty money, which he seemed to know about. By the end though, his action with Jae-hyo definitely puts him in not-victim territory. Again showing the wealthy escape punishment, while the poor, like Jun-seong, take the rap.

Great show, thought it'd be a watch and forget, but I'm still thinking about it.

Title The Deal
Grim but good. Acting is 10/10 all round. I was expecting more twists and turns - and there were some things I did not see coming - but it's more about desperation, bad luck and choices in life, and how far you can be pushed without losing yourself. It even has a decent ending. Would definitely recommend for those who like dark plots.
