Ditto. I also started out in Japan. Nodame Cantabile was my gateway drug. I have thoroughly enjoyed all of the jdoramas I have watched. But these days I watch more kdrama largely because it is so easy to find subbed dramas. If Japan would license more of their dramas to Viki and DF like Korea does, I'd watch a lot more of them.
