My theory (spoilers):

Mink was having a long-time affair with Pat, and they were expecting a baby. After Mink became pregnant, Pat fell in love with Jetiya and wanted to marry her (that's why he suddenly proposed). Mink felt betrayed because Pat left her and his unborn baby behind, so she began to seek revenge. She wrecked Pat's car causing him to have an accident. And then waited for him to bleed to death (this is also why Pat arrived at the hospital so late, causing the doctors to be unable to save him). After waiting long enough, she called Ohm and told him about the accident. Ohm arrived and saw that Mink was struggling emotionally. Mink told him how she can't get locked up behind bars because she is pregnant. She knows Ohm is naive and would take her place to go to prison instead. After Ohm was locked up, Mink began a new life. She took plastic surgery, so she is unrecognizable. She did it to take revenge on Pat's lover he wanted to marry, Jetiya. This is why she sleeps with Jetiya's father to not only get powers, but also to hurt Jetiya emotionally. And after Meena has found out that Jetiya is having fun with Ohm now, she is going to steal Ohm from her so that Jetiya experiences the same thing she had experienced herself. Meena/Mink is crazy.
