Suddenly the most bullshit thing happens which makes them break up and then get back together after a few episodes. They get married; the end.

Don't take me wrong, but I'm pretty sure that the directors chose Wei Long not because of his acting skills but just because he is handsome so they can attract the viewers which works out for them. Or else Steven Zhang would had been the lead. He can also act quiet and not talk much... in the end, the directors want money.
