Agree kind of wish LunZi will make an appearance in S2 but the director said that the original cast are not going to be included at all. I think there's a poll going around on whether the original cast should still be included so if there's enough people he might change his mind.

I wanted it just to be a rumor or scandal too but TMOPB is sadly a work derived from a plagarized novel. Now that doesn't automatically makes TMOPB bad to me cause Ik a few who because of that reason technically boycotted TMOPB. It's just I'm a little disappointed that the original author's work was stolen.

Totally agree and I'm still loving AOL even though it's been like a month already and honestly it is the best show ever. Like yea I've watched many great shows and all but I don't think there's any fantasy shows that surpasses this. First time ever where ive already rewatched so many times but still can't get over it. I can literally take an exam on AOL lol.

Hope Yang Zi and Deng Lun win the awards so I can see my LunZi together again they have the best chemistry on and off camera. This drama is so amazing along with interesting storylines and actors who can act, even though I'm not too fond of some characters I got to admit no one's acting in here was bad. This is literally the best drama ever AOL better get some kind of award for being this phenomenal and game changing. Jiayou, TeamAshesOfLove!

No I watched it for Yang Zi but in 1 and bits of 2 to only see that everyone got a much better development. I was skimming 2 so I might've missed her development but thanks for informing me. I'll try to rewatch part 2 without skimming this time.

Right also the author of TMOPB novel is so horrible. Ik jaywalk is trying to make money but seriously there are so many good unplagarized novels out there why are they only choosing to buy from this author again and again even after knowing that she plagarized almost word for word and taunted the original BL author.

Some are asking whether this is as good as TMOPB I would say if you like anything that's heavily romantic and fantasy then yes this is the show for you. Although I got to say the only similar parts are the fantasy world, people separating the main otp(gets really angsty), and last but not least the most important thing is the leading couples and lordddd both otps have such an amazing chemistry. I really ship them so much however the ship for BQxYH will never sail since both respectively are married, however my LunZi ship might sail so Jiayou to LunZi! Anyways if you're a sucker for romance then do try both shows. WARNING: if you don't like plagiarism or bad parenting then you should skip TMOPB. Also both shows has side characters that appears all the time that makes you wonder whether they're also a lead or not. I would say I'm definitely a team Ashes Of Love all the way. AOL has a very refreshing story especially the FL JM who is so amazing! JM is a strong character but very different from the typical FL and the more you see her the more you'll love her comically and determined self.

People really be sleeping on this great show.
