Once again Yang Zi's acting blew me off like she really acts so well that my heart is breaking for her character. Battle of Changsha was so nerve wrecking and sad, now here is HSALF with all its angst. Rewatching BOC made me realize how great of an actress Yang Zi is. Both show were filled with heart wrenching scenes but are so amazing and addicting.

I think she just reincarnates

Yang Zi's acting is so good that I'm crying with her, and its making me not like those birds currently one is dumb the other is evil.

I don't know how other feels but to me both JM and Night has the best development or story for this show. I just wish that we get to see more of XF but all we get to see is his bird brain with the bird cousin. I wonder how XF will feel after he know about how SH caused his death and here he is trying to repay her with his "body/love." It'll be so funny if XF is really stuck with SH for life and our lovable JM becomes the Water/Wind/Flower Goddess and just receives all the love and admiration that she deserves and be able to live a carefree life like how her mother wanted her too.

Yup their interactions are the cutest thing ever.

I don't know know how he'll make up but he needs a taste of his own medicine.

Okay XF in the show really isn't that smart I guess his actions makes more sense now but still how can he be so dumb to the obvious signs? I still feel like he actually knows SH evil deeds but just wants to turn a blind eye against it for revenge and because she "saved" him with her life so he has to repay by treating her well, even when his uncle told him about it he seemed to not believe it. Still can't get over how SH just blatantly lies by taking credit from JM and that XF is actually dumb enough to believe it.

Thank god for bts(behind the scenes) it's such a healing thing after watching all these heart wrenching scenes.

Okay yea I saw that's the fighting part is actually the preview on instagram for episodes 55&56 . While watching it today I thought the fight was part of episode 54 since it was at the end. Idek what was happening I was too heartbroken for JM after XF called SH's name so I didn't really notice much.

Same I enjoyed the pace of this show more than TMOPB, HSALF hooked me since the first episode and Yang Zi's acting is great.

Other than the realms/ fantasy stuff then no. If you're going to watch you'll be impressed with Yang Zi's acting she nailed her role perfectly. Also you'll be addicted to Yang Zi and Deng Lun's amazing chemistry and don't forget to prepare some tissues for the last 20 something episodes (:

Wait I'm confused now the fight with SH & JM was in episode 54 it wasn't a preview.

I'm pretty sure XF knows who saved him but still decides to believe the liar. Not sure what's with the fight preview thing that you were dicussing about but in episode 54 there was a fight between SH & JM and XF decides to jump in to defend SH by injuring JM. I thought at that time he knew about SH with the hells lotus fire because she was using it when he walked by. Just watching the raws so I'm a little confuse, he might've not know about SH hells lotus fire thing yet.

TMOPB was more on the heavy side from beginning to end and slow pace at first took me a long time to get into it and initially I had to put it on hold but here HSALF is a more on the light side with fast pace I was hooked since episode 1 and it also has amazing chemistry. One thing to keep in mind if you'll watch HSALF is that this will have many heartbreaking, misunderstandings, and frustrating scenes. To me the pace is better than TMOPB. Also it's literally not similar at all other than both being a fantasy show.

She definitely doesn't love XF her love caused his death since she pretended to be him to kill JM's dad. If she really had any love for him she would have never used him as a scapegoat for her. SH just needs to be gone already.
