is this worth watching? how does this compare to the korean and japanese versions?? i want to know if it’s worth…
its wayyyy better than the korean version and is on the same level as the japanese version. chemistry is beyond amazing and this show seems to improve everything about the original story. you can tell the actors tried their best to become their characters and every episode leaves you wanting more.
I wonder if Daoming Si still goes through the forced engagement in this version or is that too outdated to do these days. I mean they did change alot in this version to make it more modern friendly.
i love this shancai better than the other one. shes on the same level as tsuklushi from hyd and compared to the rest she plays the part the best. Its refreshing to see hana yori dango upgraded so perfectly like this. and daomings sister is literally my favorite character!
Jun's Domyouji is legendary. No other version could ever potray him better. Plus he looks more like what Domyouji is supposed to look like and has his original name.
Please ignore this if you don't want my negative opinion to bother you about watching this. i just need to rant.
im trying to be REALLY positive about this but as soon as i watched the first ep it put me off alot on this series. literally the only scene that interested me was when the ml was struggling to get the courage to stand up to those bullying the girl outside school and then gets the flashback with doumouyji reminding why he's my number one favourite tv show male character. like seriously the plot is just suckinging the life out of the original. might as well include all the characters in hyd. also this 'C5' thing is just cringe like i understood why f4 existed due to F4 being bored, rich and mainly loveless but i just get how these people measure up to F4 AT ALL. at first F4 was just a way to pass the time for the boys but later on through hyd we see it was much more than that. it was about longlife friendship. ohh and let me guess next episode we're gonna get blue notes in lockers instead of red like come on im just gonna pretend this sequel never existed. And its SO convenient that the main girl basically is broke so the author can start that 'poor girl has to be involved or dependent on rich boy somehow' theme. This is not necessary. I mean dont get me wrong i love poor girl rich guy romances but if your going to be a sequel of that you might swap genders and have the characters face different troubles. Maybe a poor boy who got into Eitoku for a scholarship cause hes a genius plus really nice and shy and maybe has a dark possesive side with alot of secrets versus a rich girl whos outgoing popular blunt but is distrust of people and pushes people away. throw in some subtle allies who slowly become enemies plus a bunch of real life situation and your ready to go. see? not that hard to make a good story is it? now, you try it and i BET it will be wayyyyy more better than this. but then again it is just the first episode so who knows?
I really want Makino to have cameo with her child picking he/she up from Eitoku elementary and maybe even meeting the heroine by chance. And if im being greedy a tiny lovely dovey scene with her doumouji, It would be interesting to see how they after 10 years of marriage. lol im such a fangirl but i cant help it i was and still am obsessed with hana yori dango!
