I kind of understand why they changed the name to Boys before Friends. Since we're advit drama watchers, we've gotten used to all these drama titles but most Americans out there aren't. And since this is an American adaptation and the targeted audiance are Americans, I believe it was a good idea to change the name. Just like how we're thinking Boys before Friends is a stupid name, people who don't watch dramas will be like, "Boys before Flowers? Wtf kind of name is that? What does boys have anything to do with flowers?" I agree that Boys before Friends isn't the best name that they could've changed it to, but atleast it's kind of similar to the original.
But on another note, I really hope this version doesn't ruin the story. America is WAY different than Asia so who knows what can happen.
