Review Dear Hongrang
Although I'd throw the mad prince and his devilish habits into the inherently bad category.
clearly so, it's evident the yangbans who're either senile or deranged in some way are in large distribution compared to their commoner counterparts.

he has earned the spot, a person couldn't be more psychotic and evil than he is.

there's this thing I wrote about the Yi dynasty being plagued with psychopaths, there are many strand sof madness in their bloodline, historically speaking. King Yi Sun was the first clear example.

Of course, it's a netflix original after all, I'd expect nothing less. There's no greater trademark than steamy…
yes I actually agree this was enjoyable, it was mild. I was just saying that it's not possible not to have a sex scene in a netflix original for the romance genre.

The queen who crowns was precisely the most explicit I've seen in a saeguk. it was my first experience with such scenes in Kdrama of its kind. Other one was in modern day drama, I believe it was business proposal.
The dramas I've seen prior to these two were very innocent, almost never a sex scene except all those hair-rising stares, touches, kisses etc.
Nevertheless those two dramas was fireeee and worth a rewatch .

I can't understand. This drama is one of the best K dramas I've ever watched.
I guess that was one of the magic potions, lol

a person with the same blood group was selected. The shaman was close enough to be able to figure this much out.

Of course, it's a netflix original after all, I'd expect nothing less. There's no greater trademark than steamy sensual episodes tho this was rather mild compared to what I've seen netflix do with a couple other dramas, Korea is fairly still conservative, beautifully so.

I was yelling at my phone screen and raining spittle when I saw the whole thing spiraling into a romantic love story. That first kiss was cringe as hell but ngl, they had me hands and feet knotted by the end of 9th episode.

She is not an assassin, give the poor girl a break. 🤣
True, especially as I now recall, her character has not for once shown that she was capable of deep and intelligent ideas

😂😂💔I often ignore the fragile and naive foolishness of most FLs because the MLs are often built to cover for their lapses otherwise the whole Kdrama collection will have everyone getting killed in middle of first episode due to the FLs incompetence

How was it unnecessary???A happy ending would have been completely abnormal in this case.
well not unnecessary but a happy ending will not be any more abnormal than the pan of events this drama carried.

I may have to disagree. Pain & misery, joy&love are enough to foster a chemistry so strong that it could burn down cities.
And this very drama used it to utmost satisfaction.

Now this is a drama that gives the reminder yet again of why we ought to look at ALL humans for what they are; inherently good and bad, no exceptions.

I still didn't get his point in that plot ..maybe ..or some kinda "ritual "
it was for furtherance, like the parents of those kids are spooked with the thoughts and imagination of the supernatural so their search was cornered to be fruitless since they mostly couldn't see past the "kiushin" ghost aspect and actually look for their kids.

Suggesting that those kids were not captured by mere mortal is enough distraction for the actual perpetrators to get away with their sins for more than 12years.

Coincidence. It doesn’t really matter why they are dead ringers for each other - it’s just a way to show how…
Not really. Hereditary monarchy is a fine concept I should say. What is absurd is the fact that anyone who fights to kill off another gets to be king or queen, nevermind that the hero may be a total imbecile with half a brain cell, making big decisions for all of humanity. I should say only the best brains+Character should get to call the shots_through a sort of demonstration of abilities. (emphasis on character, very important, we can't have an evil genius either)

A big chunk of this drama was heavily fictionalized but believe it or not, the part of her rejecting him is historically…
I rather say the cause of his death was glaringly obvious, man was hung and dried on the love of a precious soul and in the midst of his grave tragedy, that love could not cuddle him well enough to breath a few more years.he received so little love but suffered a mountain. wouldn't that agony be enough to kill anyone?not to mention he was practically going blind with his infected eye(it's likely he also suffered serious and persistent headaches as result of his eye) it was heartbreaking to watch.
