I was bored to sleep going through the first 2 episodes, maybe I'll try again next time.. I've always craved Joseon…
Okay so I've come back after deciding to binge watch the drama again and tho it's not the best candy in the jar, it was fun while it lasted until the last episode. abolishing the constitutional monarchy didn't sit well with me, it was a king's selfish decision.
Idk about the others, but BWS looks the same as his younger self (even childhood photos), and he looks like his…
oh really. I'm sorry, idk how he looked in childhood but I don't mean they shouldn't have plastics but it shouldn't be so obvious, takes away the beauty
I was bored to sleep going through the first 2 episodes, maybe I'll try again next time.. I've always craved Joseon style royal drama set in the modern era like Eternal monarch and The Empress but this one is not it. I don't think there's been another drama that bored me this much after Captivating the king, this is a painful second.
also someone should advice some of our kdrama celebrities to really tone down on the plastics, I've encountered actors/actresses who's plastic face just wouldn't let me focus on the issue at hand, I endured this from BYS and two other actors in a previous drama but it's increasingly difficult to ignore.
Again, the makeup load on the Males in this drama is driving tears out of my eyes, IT IS JUST TOO EXCESSIVE!🤦🏽♀️ what kind of caked-up face is that Prime minister Min Jeongwoo wearing??
this is my story too, I finished simply because I'm a completionist when it comes to kdrama... exception for that drama "captivating the king" I couldn't endure.
There was nothing that vexed me as much as Gu-Won still remaining a demon which meant that he wouldn't age, so he'll be incredibly young while Do-Hee ages to her death??? How's that horror movie romantic?
Decided there was no bad guy to drag on 2 more episodes?? Why don't we just resurrect the dead guy and give him a little whip? Not crying enough?? Have the bad guy released from under the freaking blocks so he could shoot our star girl to her death and then Gu-Won would inevitably go up in flames, pitifully while my favourite track hums!!!
a drama with a perfect starting but the last eps ... sigh ... NOPE ... it became boring
if you powered through till the end I doubt it was truly boring for you. tho I dropped it at the second eps was cos I was dozing each time, I was so bored. it a pain because I love the female lead and started because of her but couldn't beat it
IU is not responsible for whatever slop happened in this exhausting drama

I love her Infact, I just hate how bland this drama is
Do we need a manual for when to laugh, cry or smile? cos I forgot to do any of those
in my case if this happend to be the first kdrama I ever watched, I'm sure I'd come to resent kdrama as a whole and not watch again.
you gotta be kidding
that was his mom he so desperately wanted to liberate we're talking about here.
come on!
