I believe the extra episode is a special episode like a commentary with the actors. The drama has only 16 episodes in total.

I'm personally hoping for an ending like Yellow Boots. Sometimes you can get revenge but in another way than to kill someone. Them destroying themselves is the best kind of revenge honestly and I can see that happening in The glory too.

I really like who Kim's character got a lot of screen time in this final episode. He wasn't really involved directly in the main plot and felt like a side-character but he definitely got his time to shine in ep 14. I loved his action scene the most. The fact that he showed his love for Chay by staying away and protecting him from a distance suits his character. Perhaps one day he and Chay will have their happy reunion but for now he will stay and protect Chay :'3

Your friends are totally right. NIF2 is more focused on the family dynamics and is more of a coming of age story where our main guy goes from "spoiled naive child to a warrior/responsible adult". It's less politics and scheming. It all depends what you enjoy. NIF2 focuses more on romance too than NIF1 did.
