Ep 4...woah O_O compared to ep 3, it's not as screwed up, but it has it's own dark moments. I loved how it focused…
Don't worry about the caps, I totally agree with your point of view! Yeah Bang Won was kind of a hypocrite? No, actually that's the wrong word, he is human and he didn't know how stressful the situation would be if he was actually put in it himself, but it just shows that one can't always judge someone without knowing how it feels like. I guess hypocrite is the wrong word xD since in the end he also burned the book like you said, even if he critisized the other guy for doing so. I wonder if he realized his mistake or if he still thinks that "this situation is more just" than the other guys who is still considered weak. "Being good is being weak" is what he stated in ep 4. Hm....I think he kind of likes to toss around words, either to make himself feel all high and mighty or because he has a very wicked view on the world as of now. I'd rather say "naive is weak" and not "good is weak". But that's just me xD Being naive is sometimes good too, you need to be naive and idealistic to wish to make a change so....but yeah, I guess we have to keep in mind that he he does have a somewhat fucked-up mind xD (excuse the language) haha
Ep 4...woah O_O compared to ep 3, it's not as screwed up, but it has it's own dark moments. I loved how it focused on Ddang Sae, and his growth into a swordsman. I really fell for him, the child actor did an awesome job! Actually, all child actors did an awesome job (okay almost.... Bong Yi, I liked her strongwillness, but she was kind of annoying with her whiny crying -.-* aside from that, brilliant)
Also, I'm pretty sure Yeon Hee got raped right? Poor girl o_o that was totally messed up! But at the same time, I hope I wasn't the only one who thought Bong Yi overreacted, I mean, okay Ddang Sae could've tried to help Yeon Hee, but he hurt his leg and it's not like he had any weapons, in the end it he tried anything they'd both have died. To tell him that he should've tried to protect Yeon Hee even if it meant death...I dunno, isn't it a bit extreme and evil to say that to your own brother? ._. I felt so bad for Ddang Sae, it's not it's his fault and it made him almost commit suicide X_x Now I'm pretty sure Yeon Hee's reputation and life is ruined forever, if she was raped, since in the old days, women couldn't marry if they weren't virgins, so I do understand that if he could've prevented it, it would've been great but the guy was powerless :s I can understand that Yeon Hee got angry and disappointed, she thought he didn't try to help her because he was a coward and not because he was hurt. So yeah, dunno about Yeon Hee but Boon Yi overreacted in my opinion. Anyone who agrees?
On a sidenote, Ddang Sae became totally kickass! *_*
On another sidenote, LBW's as whicked as always "good is weak" ....yeah man, keep saying that and you're really go crazy <_< he already has a screw loose, but we shall see how it goes. All characters are so interesting gosh! >_< I love this drama! 10/10 so far xD Moo Hyul is such a cutie xD anyone else who thought the child actor looked like L from Infinite? xP
Question : Should I watch Tree with deep roots first before this one?
Rather than tree with deep roots (since it is like the sequel or continuation of Six flying dragons) I think one should watch "Faith", take away the timetraveling part and they revolve around King Gongmin, the princess and general Choi Young who seem to play a pretty big part in the background of this drama. I'm watching it at the same time as this one and I have to say the story is very connected and makes more sense xP just an advice :)
Anyone else who thinks this drama should be called a thriller too? Some pretty messed up stuff is happening, without saying too much xD Main guy.......
LBW is becoming more and more like his brutal self now
I miss his cute dialect though :(
Just watched it ._. woah......okay for his young age, kid is quite whicked. It's almost creepy but I find it interesting. It's very cool how the camera focuses a lot on his face, his eyes really speak for themselves. He is not innocent ._. he's not evil but I think he is kind of getting that justice-talk about over his head. He thinks he has the right to do stuff in the name of justice. Kind of "I'm God" no? :s Oh and I kind of love how they made it seem like the head scholar ordered the assassination, it was very cleverly done. I really believed it too and then BAAAM nope, it was the main character ._. I wonder if this drama should have the thriller genre applied to it as well? It kind of has those creepy moments, and this is just the third episode xD

Aaaah right. So he's become brutal? That's both sad yet epic. I'm glad they seem to stick to real historical facts then. He is rememebered as a rather fishy person <_<
I wanted to watch it but 50 are too much and I cannot bear with it only with my love for Yoo Ah in...
50 eps may sound a lot but if it's a good story then I'd rather watch 1 50 eps drama that is good than 3 16 eps dramas that are weak and meh...xD depends on the person I guess. But if you look at dramas like Empress Ki, it's a masterpiece despite being 50 eps. Just to let you know xD
Very confusing drama x_x first melodrama that I felt.made no sense at all. How can a wife go to jail for something her husband did? It's not like they had evidence that she waa evwn involved? Does a wife ultimately become guilty if hee husband does something illigal in S.Korea? That's just bullshit! I've seen people be framed in melodramas and that's fine since they get framed but this? Someone please tell.me.i missunderstood it because this is very confusing!
Really want to start this drama for Shin Sung Rok (he was just epic in Liar Game & My Love from the Stars), but…
I think it was a really great drama. It portraits the relationship between the father (king) and gis two sonsvery well. It was a very emotional and frustrating srama to watch because i felt so bad for some of the characters Dx (frustrating in a good way that is. Since you cared for them) shin sung rok plays a villain yes. There are more than one though so he is one of the bad guys xD I recommend you to check it out! :3
