Thank you for this blog! I started wathing the series because of it and I really like it so far! Like you said the whole cat thing makes me uncomfortable as well, and some really bloody scenes I just can't watch, but the story is very interesting and I am curious as to where it will go, so thank you again for the recommendation! ^^
The story doesn't sound that appealing to me to be honest, but I think I'll give this drama a try just because…
So far (after having watched the first 2 episodes) I'm loving this series! It has some cliché aspects to it, but the story isn't like any drama I've watched before so I'm pleasantly suprised lol.
I'm really excited for this new season because I loved the season 1, but at the same time I'm a little nervous not knowing how this season will surpass it's prior one, especially with an almost completely different cast :(
Great blog and I totally agree! The series has been great up till now and I really hope it continues like that. Sadly this drama seems to be quite underrated so I hope this blog will convince others to start watching it as well :)
I fully watched The Emperor: Ruler of the mask and Hwarang. Both stories started quite promising but turned out to be a bit of a disappointment and I totally agree with what you've written about them. The only reason I kept watching was because of the idols acting in these dramas and for Ruler because I watched them together with my mom and it became our weekly thing together but that says it all. I also watched one episode of While you were sleeping but I'm hesitant to watch more because I keep seeing people say the drama starts to get boring around episode 10. By the way this article is great! I really liked reading these honest reviews and some of the small texts you wrote beneath the pictures were really funny ^^
I think it would have been a better ending for Cho Gap Soo to have died by commiting suicide and 'join' Baek Ho. However after losing everything he had, his titles, allies etc. he gets another kick in the stomach by being 'saved' and then sentenced to death and humiliated in prison. I also thought the eating from the grounf scene was really weird and not suited for his character.
So many people have recommended this drama to me and I really want to watch it now after reading your blog! The story seems very interesting (and the actors are very goodlooking haha). However I'm watching a few other dramas rn and school is really busy too so I have no idea when I'll finally have time to start this drama ugh.
Well my plan was to get people to watch it so I'm glad you decided to give it a try!^^
I watched it and I am totally in love with this film. The story is really sad and I cried so much. All the details in this story were so beautiful and it left such an impression on me. It is definitely one of my favourite films of all time now. I can't thank you enough for writing this review 'cause otherwise I probably wouldn't have found it haha.
