I was thinking the same thing about the voice and her posture. It's too exaggerated.
I guess that is the only thing they can use to justify the reason why people can't recognize her considering she has the same exact face despite having done "reconstructive surgery"
Now that i have finished the 4 eps, WOW. This is legit one of the best kdramas of 2023, and one of the few that didn’t disappoint. I have to give the director his flowers and the actors. Seo in guk slayed as usual, his versatility actually needs to be studied. Also loooved his chemistry with GYJ, they need a drama focused just on them (the way their visuals also match?!?!). All the actors did incredibly well. LJW really surprised me because I usually don't like his acting but he did a really good job here (though I lowkey got bored after his character left prison but that has nothing to do with him) and le do hoon with the sad characters again, but that is literally his forte and he can never disappoint. Also I am so shooked by how park so dam embodied her role as death. I like how all the different lifetimes were fleshed out, they were all very different but it didn’t feel jarring at all. I also didn't expect this to be funny at all but it was funny in a dark way and it really lightened and balanced the show. My favorite lifetime has to be the mob guy (he had me at the edge of my seat!), the funniest segment was the prison scenes (also sung hoons part 😂) and the saddest for me was the highschool student. All in all the cast was amazing, not even one weak link and the plot was also really engaging.

What?? 😠I have already said everything I wanted to say in my OG comment, so why do I need to argue with you? Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, as I mentioned earlier in case you missed it, art is subjective. And not everyone is going to or has to agree with your opinion. That's all.
The hate the main actors are getting in this comment section is crazy to me. While I do agree that the fl looks a bit immature for the role and that might have contributed to her lack of appeal, the actress has been pretty good so far. Tbh alot of the bad acting comments seem to be coming from people who don't like either of the main actors (or their previous works). Which makes me wonder why they are even watching the show to begin with because the plot is nothing to write home about. And don’t get me wrong, constructive criticism is always needed but alot of the comments are just straight up hating. Because while I don't think rowoon is an incredibly versatile actor or the best actor ever. He is a very solid actor and a great Idol actor. I do think there is a bit of overacting in his potrayal for the ml, but it seems more like a directing choice rather than his acting. And tbh the ml and the king are the only characters making this show even remotely interesting. And again what did people expect after reading that synopsis and seeing the trailer (ngl i was expecting it to be more comedic and interesting but the comedic overacting was a given). It is fine not to like an actors acting style afterall art in any form is subjective. But i also also think rowoon has proved to be a solid actor with prior roles so the generalization is a bit unfair.
As for the drama, I agree with the major consensus. It seems boring and dragged out and if it is this draggy at the beginning how exactly are they going to fill the remaining 14 eps (12 eps max is enough for this plot). Unfortunately I think I will be dropping this, I am just not connecting to any of the characters enough to be invested in this. I do wish the cast luck though, because this is a talented cast with an unfortunately bad script. I honestly wonder why they all signed up for this.

I think people need to accept that any form of art is subjective. People not liking an actors acting doesn’t necessarily mean they are a bad actor. It is just a personal preference.
