Yikes yeah it looks like now she's definitely not one of the leads. I don't know if that was because of the drama she caused or she was just totally wrong from the beginning but it felt weird to delete this after so many people had replied to it.
whoever said yue qin is clumsier than other versions has not seen the other versions lol. I really enjoyed this remake although I don't think it added anything really new or different. I felt like the main girl was less cartoon-ish than the most recent chinese movie and japanese drama adaptions

I'm 19 ep in and I would say in the general idea yes but in execution no? For example they've known each other since childhood and are generally nice to each other as opposed to the love at first kiss/the entire itazura na kiss franchise where he starts out being super rude.
Watched it on a plane (thank you Delta) and the first half of the drama was so calming that it was hard to keep my eyes open even though I was enjoying myself. Warning that the calm tone does not stay for the entire drama but even then I felt like my emotional reaction was pretty muted. I think it's really interesting that there's really only two male characters in the entire show (although they briefly show another's face).
