Netflix looks like it's going to be at least 2 days behind youku. Youku posted the first episode for free a couple hours ago and then 2-4 you need a paid membership.

I don't know if it's been mentioned anywhere but the first two instrumentals in episode 1 are from Blitzers' first albums (specifically the songs Breathe Again and Dreampilot). I actually burst out laughing because I would know those songs anywhere hahaha

It's been a while since I've read it but he does retire with no plans to return. From what I remember he basically said that he only continued to have a connection to shengsheng and that he was done but they might not have it go that way in the drama

After watching the first episode, by pseudo-romance he means he wants her to pretend to fall in love with other people so he can use it for inspiration. So she's actually actively trying to date the guy of his choosing where she knows that she doesn't actually like them but they don't know....It's kinda hard to explain because it's weird lol

That makes the most sense to me but I checked IQiyi after posting this and it says "2 episodes a day Thursday to Saturday" which would mean 6 a week?

tbh that's okay with me I'm a fan of the novels so if this new actress can pull off the novel character well I think that would be good :)

Also, if they go into the prequel story (God's Left Hand) then it would be looking at when Appledog is still a teenager so I think it's better that they have someone who looks younger (she isn't that much younger than Wang Zhen Er but she definitely looks it)
