I'm guessing A Shui or Chun Ji is the princess the emperor lost yrs ago... I hope it's Chun ji since she's always looked down for her humble past & origin. It's obvious A Shui has a hidden identity too but hopefully it's much more complex than just a lost princess, that'd be too boring

how is it boring if it's the same as the novel, that's the whole point of making an adaptation. if u want them to completely drift from the original story then should make a new story & sell it as a new story, not an adaptation. Novel readers usually don't watch it to be an original new plot, but to see what they read come to life. You only ever see novel/manhwa/manga readers complain when the adaptation changes even minute detail, hardly never about it being too closely to the original work.

nah I hope not, they'll ruin it if they drift too far from the novel and not to mention it'll feel forced

You just conveniently skipped over everything said about using children pic without their/parent's consent, this issue got brought to attention cause of the idol's image or most would've not known the crew's using children's pic without consent. Plus I was thinking before why u r bending over backwards to defend such mishap, but now noticing ur pfp I understand. You don't care about morals or how un-ethical it is to use child pic for commercial use over a sensitive topic without their consent, u only care about ur fave actress & her drama smooth sailing. Talking to u & other fellow @cutie cotton is a waste of time, you're clearly a die hard fan that'd defend the drama no matter what, even if it means ignoring basic morals & other right's.

It's using registered cases or not is irrelevant to what we r talking about here. Plus it seems u lack basic understanding of what copyright is, using a celeb's pic as pfp isn't the same as using someone's pic (even public) for commercial production without their consent, it's very much illegal & even more sensitive & un-ethical considering it's the use of a child's image. I don't understand why u r trying to bend over backwards for a crew that violated other's image rights. Hopefully Hybe sues them.

That just make's it even worse... u can't just use children's pic for a film without their permission, esp for sensitive topic like this, even ignoring the basic legal issues like copyrights , it's basic decency.

Saw on social media they used Min Yoongi's childhood picture as one of the missing child picture on the drama, using an idol's childhood pic on a drama without permission is not only disrespectful but pretty sure it's also illegal...
