Is level or status the real reason?ML and FL do not know each other's background. Technically they are both clerks…
π― in agreement with what you wrote here; I also think that she likes ML to go on a movie date with him and found him to be enduring. Furthermore, she was kind enough to share her notes, etc with him when he was a rookie! Tbh with you, I also can relate and understand why she is pushing away someone she might have an affinity towards (so she can avoid further heartache/headache in the future). π€¦π»ββοΈ
The chemistry between the leads are π₯. βΊοΈ
In addendum, I like YYS and MGY as actors in their previous respective works. MGY also delineated how she picked this role as a 'different' challenge; good for her! πππ»
I like how reading the differences in perspectives/subjective opinions in this page; in fact, some of them are quite comedic. π€£
Idc what your reasoning behind hating suyeong is but pls stop saying inferiority complex is a red flag. It's something…
Thanks for your posts! The goods from this show...
1) It is not a typical chaebol kdrama romance - nothing wrong with 'being rich' in SFL character.
2) I love how her coworkers were candid with the auditors (even at first, splicing and scenes showed they were on the manager's side) and share what the manager did towards SY was wrong (#metoo movement) and β€οΈ how SY stood up for herself with the same manager in front of her coworkers! πͺπΌ It was equally GOOD to see/hear the apology from the same manager.
3) How atypical SS is by choosing and liking SY (fully aware of her educational background, etc) instead of someone who will help him attain wealth, etc quicker. To be determined...lol π€£π€¦π»ββοΈ
4) This drama depict what it might be like for the 'normal' folks; I also like seeing how some characters try to 'help' one another! It is good to escape via the characters in a drama but we tend to over-romanticized 'wealth' and chaebol families. This is why I like how SS wants an 'average' life with a wife of his choosing.
Actually people on mydramalist can't digest contemporary slow paced dramas. They rate high to useless dramas but…
π― on factoring income/grades/test scores/etc. It is difficult to account for someone's background; i.e. a rich kid might have parents who refuse to pay if they do not elect/choose the major of their parents choosing. If I was the SFL, I would have elected partial scholarship or financial aids vs full scholarship. It all depends on the school's endowments. Hope you are enjoying this drama along with others! π After Reborn Rich , Under the Queen's Umbrella, and The Glory, I need something really good soon. π€¦π»ββοΈ

Good seeing you and your continued support for this drama. ππΌπ₯ I enjoy reading your candor and your replies to others. lol π€£
I totally understand why these characters are behaving this way due to their insecurities/protective natures/etc. I get why she has reservations about ML and why she is distancing so she does not get hurt. Life has not been easy for her.
On a side note, I feel like the writer(s), at times, are saying what we all feel like saying but could not. i.e. That rude guest @ the friend's wedding; I like SFL's character but what her college friend/rude wedding guest said was true, SFL probably thinks she is being noble by attaining full scholarship but in reality, she took away an opportunity from an equally diligent but yet POOR student who might have needed it more! π€£π€¦π»ββοΈππ»
it is surely one of the most realistic romance dramas , I love the slow pace and and the fact that it shows the…
π― agreement on your post. Thanks for your support! Keep on enjoying....I personally look forward to this drama every week; like you and others, I'm also not novius to dramas!
This drama is not just a typical melodrama. It's a deep dive into the realistic exploration of the characters.…
π―π In agreement with what you wrote, after watching ep 3 &4, I'm really liking the dialogues and character development. It's great to hear it from another who is not novice and can appreciate this!
Amazing drama overall, one of the most interesting and entertaining I' ve come across recently actually. the ending…
Agreed! π―ππ I get all the inquiries and unsatisfactory comments post eps 16 though! I'm good with the ending and get how some feels there is a disconnect in eps 16/ending after watching eps 2 to 15! It might helped if grandpa came back either in 'spirit' form or a figment of his imagination to close the loop with....something in the line of "I'm proud of you DJ....or Are you satisfied with Soonyang now, grandpa?...!"
Glad at least HW or DJ survived to manage SY instead of the other family members!

Hi Ching gu! ππ§βπππ‘π°βοΈ Happy holidays to you and yours as well. Thank you so much. Glad youβre taking some time off which you deserve. Half the best holiday ever..
As for romance, itβs very minor. In fact, if you look at the commenters, a lot of them feel that the romance was not necessary, even though itβs transient! You know how I like romance but I actually agree and find it not necessary. However, itβs good that theyβre giving jobs to women and you know how I am a proponent of women in the workforce.! Even though this is not a spoiler, Iβm gonna mark it as a spoiler since weβre discussing another drama and the plot!
In agreement that calling her a bitch a bit harsh! No need to apologize; I love how you're passionate about this.…

Forgot to add; per my aunt....apparently, in Asia, it is still very socioeconomic conscience and 'likes marry likes'. π€¦π»ββοΈ Its quite a shame since wealth changes with time, luck, and continued diligence (at times through marriages lol π€£. )
Patriarchy is still very apparent in Asian cultures/businesses. Luckily, I work for a global technology company that appointed a female engineer to head that region; I even thanked the CEO for this! I, myself, is on the board for the Women's group. Further transparency, I'm blessed with an Asian American dad who only wanted a daughter to be an only child; his love for me is similar to the Korean dad to FL in Kdrama, How may I help you?
Please keep ππ»πͺπΌ for women! Thanks! Sry for keeping this as a spoiler even though it isn't.
