Same; I have been fast forwarding everyday to see tomorrow's preview! Never liked to give negative comments but this show is getting dumber by the day with its plot and direction. smh * facepalm* lol

@dragnelia At times, I catch some scenes I might have missed during rewatch. Although I am guilty of fast forwarding (at times) lol ;P I am enameled with the beauty of the scenarios/characters/etc but my beloved mom burst my bubble on the beauty of the actors/actresses. She thinks most of them went under the knife (plastic surgeries).

@dragnelia Thanks for your reply as well; sigh that there are merely 7 more episodes of TLB for me! I live for the enduring and slow building romances between the leads couple(s). All of them. =) Tbh, there are a lot of 'junks' out there, therefore, I plan on rewatching this drama again when its over. Keep enjoying! =)

@sunset Please make sure you love your Asian differences and celebrate it! It took me a while to appreciate my 'differences' and Asian appearance while growing up in the US. =). Thanks for your share; my family gets asked what is our heritages frequently (most think we're Hawaiians)! I'll take it since I love Hawaii and the people there. We're a mixed family but predominantly Chinese from SE Asia (Singapore, Malaysia, etc). When I was in Korea, they thought I was Korean because of my fair skin, etc. These days, I really appreciate/celebrate Asian cultures/beauty/etc.

@dragnelia agreed; I happen to love the Long Ballad along with many people. I was merely sharing with this group on some comical comments that made me laughed.

These two comments from another site got me ROFLMAO: "WHY ARE THEY DEADASS SHOWING BIRDS KISSING AND BLURRING THEIR FACES" lol

"This was the most ridiculous kiss ever in a C-drama. Showing the hands, the shoes and the birds and everything else super blurry???? What was that? Is there any real kissing in this drama? I more or less dropped it, I came back to see this?" lol

I'l check out Yellow Boots; I really enjoyed Let's Fight Ghost Korean version because I heart KSHyun! OTY is great as a villain in Vincenzo and as a ML in Let's Fight Ghost; my friend dislike him because she thinks his Korean has a big American accent (especially during LFG)! lol

I was just laughing out loud from reading some of the comments from my new fav, The Long Ballad. There were a kissing scene (or lack of since it pan out to birds kissing instead)! OMG.
If you do not mind my candor, I really don't like Ha Ra from MM. I've to remind myself that this is pure entertainment but not sure how a female can be this 'evil'. Another thing I do not like is how they selected a single eye lid attractive actress to portray the bad female lead and a 'big' eye attractive actress as the 'good' female lead. (Believe it or not, I am an Asian female with what considered as big and double lid eyes.). It is just a mere observation of mine. I did not like how a lot of Asians have to undergo double eyelid surgeries to be considered beautiful.

Sorry, ranting/venting here. Before I forget, Japanese's version of MM is good. Check it out.

@sunset checked out PHS's drama What Happens to my family and it was pretty good. Recognized a few actors/actresses from other long dramas; it is amazing how some actors, i.e. PHS, who graduated to greater leading roles, etc. Glad you skipped A Good Supper; both A Good Supper and Miss Monte-Cristo took disappointing turns. *Facepalm*

Just waiting for Vincenzo and Navillera (really good and heart warming) to end and Penthouse 3 to start. Which dramas are you enameled with these days? Take it easy!

@Sunset thanks; rewatched some of Lee Je Hoon's dramas i.e. Tomorrow with you, Where Stars Land, forgot what a good actor he is! His new drama has an interesting premise: revenge. Btw, I recalled that you mentioned you were looking forward to Sisphy...(a disappointment)? So many dramas have so much potentials this year...I was looking forward to Seo In Guk's return until I learned who the FL is. *Facepalm* I was looking forward to Joseon Exorcist until it got cancelled!

Personally, I would like to see Eun Jo back with her first love (did not blame him for how Ha Ra went after him). The chaebol son is way too goofy looking for my taste.
Penthouse only have 1 eps per week; sigh. Didn't think they could drag it to 3 seasons but glad they did.
Speaking of eye candy, cannot wait for Park Hyung Sik's new drama/movie/anything lol PHS in eye glasses...good weekend!

@Sunset Please give A Good Supper a try; you may like it! There is a character there, Da Jung, whose behaviors are evocative of some Real Housewives series in the US. *facepalm*. I didn't get interested with M. Montecristo until after episode 10 plus; cheering for Eun Jo to take down Ha Ra! Who do you want her to end up with, romantic wise, the chaebol heir or her first love? Always fun chatting up with you about these long dramas.

As for Phoenix 2020, I kept fast forwarding the episodes or skipping them after episodes 60 plus. Like you said, this series had potential.

SJH was in Princess Aurora; didn't check it out due to the ML/FL. I believe the ML was also in the Place in the Sun!

Look into the Thorn flower. Other than the Penthouse series (June can't come soon enough) and Vincenzo, I'm getting bored and/or disinterested with the storylines or format of recent/new 16-20 episodes k-dramas! =). Hope I don't get others upset for my candor! =) Stay healthy.

@sunset I hope all is well! This drama really turned into a hot mess but I stayed to see the ending. Do you think the other actor quit, therefore, they cannot react/recreate that beach scene with him? Saw your SHJ in another drama and thought of you! What are your thoughts about Miss Monte Cristo and A Good Supper? Da Jung from A Good Supper (*facepalm*) lol I am waiting for the Thorn Flower to be sub since my understanding of Korean is worst then a pre-schooler. ;P. Navillera is a tear jerker; love a lot of the heart warming and messaging in it. Lately, I have gotten into two Chinese dramas: The Long Ballad, etc. Take care. =)

@Claire lol Agreed! Did LJM/ML quit? I lost interest and fast forward a lot towards the end. *facepalm* Stuck through to see the ending.

Review: it had its enduring sweet/cute moments and at times, a bit slow, but I would recommend watching this. I might be the minority on this but I'm accustomed to it being Asian American living in America. lol; I'm not novice to kdramas and I rarely post on here but wanted to share my feedback.

I actually enjoyed it; the story was not cliche for me since the 'chaebol' or rich son did not get the FL (which have been overused in many dramas). Happy that Sun Oh is with someone who loves him! Furthermore, I find it to be great that some of the characters were non-glamourous (even though it is nice to live vicariously through these dramas); it also depicted wealthy families to have their own issues that they have to deal with.

Please do not forget or negate that she lost her parents to suicide and lived in a household where both her aunt and cousin disliked or mistreated her! I cannot fathom growing up this way; glad to see that she developed an outlet in her drawings, etc as well as finding LOVE and someone who truly cares for her!

A romantic at heart, their sweet moments brought 'awww...so cute' out of me; guess what, I am actually rewatching some episodes! =). I know, madness! lol
