Title Phoenix
Sad considering she was pretty good in her character portrayal in this and was so young!
Watching this version, I was sharing with @Sunset, brought clarity to the direction of Phoenix 2020 version as well as character development. The Villianese in both Phoenix 2020 and A Man in a Veil are the WORST ^(&(@#QU. lol

Yes but I saw your post on phoenix 2020; not sure if that version will follow this version directly. Are you sure you want to know? You could just easily jump to episode 26 for this version? ;P. Honestly, in this version, she ended up with the 'right' character but not sure about the 2020 version. Who are you rooting for?

Title A Man in a Veil Spoiler
ok so plot device with the paternity of the kid...but is this gonna be the YR redemption i think the only way…
Love, love, love how you wrote, "save the kid and she dies..." *Giggling* One can only hope this transpire! They have 30 plus episodes to drag out YR's character, etc. *facepalm* lol

@sunset Thank you for your post! I thought I was the only who feels this way about this drama and Phoenix vs other…
@sunset you are fine! Glad you suggested for me to watch phoenix 2004; clarity! ;P. I like the original actors and find them to be more attractive (even in dated hairstyles, etc). Not sure why/how they are going to drag it to 100 eps when the original is 20+. This is why I dislike some c-dramas; unnecessary fillers and boring eps. Btw, I like Moon Ga Young (from Seducer, Find me in your memory, and now True Beauty). Its cheesy at times but cute. Chat soon. :)

Merci, danka, Xue Xue, Gu ma sumeda, etc! ;P. Oh no, please do not misconstrue; I don't think the guys are good enough for her! lol I will try to check out the older versions of Phoenix. can't wait to chat with you more. Treat yourself to something nice!

@sunset Thank you for your post! I thought I was the only who feels this way about this drama and Phoenix vs other…
@Sunset Happy Friday! If you do not mind my candor, neither are good enough for her! At first I was rooting for Se Hoon due to their earlier on dynamics and then gradually rooting for her to have Jung Min's care but now I feel they ought to find another. LOL Since Se Soon has a health issue, I have a feeling the writers are leaning towards Jung Min. As optimistic and caring as I am, I hope Se Hoon's current fiancé does not get him! Your thoughts? Have a good weekend.

I am also surprised that this drama's rating has jumped to 7's! Cannot get into No Matter What; wbu? Good weekend.

Thank you! Avengers Social Club might be up your alley! Glad you are not a novice to dramas. Lakorns: Yes Hua Jai Sila is good (thumbs up); you might like the chemistry of Yaya and Mark in Kluen cheewit; another from my repeat lists. Morrasoom Sawat (2015) with Weir. Jao Sao Jum Yorm (2018) with Mik is evocative of some k-drama. None of the newer lakorns captured my attention. Yoon so yi from a place in the sun is in the new revenge drama the goddess of revenge. Sorry, there are a few actresses that my close friends and I cannot stand; they are whiny (i.e. Park Bo Young)? lol I like Jung so Min (because of this is my first life). OMG; I remember Bring it on ghost. (Thanks for the reminder!) That is when I fell in love with Kim So Hyun! Watch so many dramas because I just adore her; Goblin, Love Alarm, Tale of N, etc. School 2015, Radio Romance was pretty cute! CSWon made A Korean Odyssey fun for me; his bromance/dynamics with LSJ!

66 episodes in and we still have not exposed Yoo Ra yet? URGH! Also in Phoenix 2020, who/which couple are you rooting for? The long dramas might have more unknown faces but eventually the same leads resurfaces in these dramas so they become familiar/known! I love seeing the older characters that appears in different current broadcasting dramas simultaneously.

Please check out High society; PHS's chemistry with the 2FL was so cute. I also liked the mom character to PHS!

Is my wonderful life any good? Can't seem to get into it since not a fan of the female lead.

Some beautiful actors/actresses: LMH, KSH, Song couple, etc. I just cannot revisit their dramas; one I do from time to time is My love from the star (my inductee to K-drama)!

All of these dramas bring back memories of my visits to Seoul and I am living vicariously through them sans travel during this pandemic. Enjoy your week! Salut!

Thanks Sunset! Happy Holidays! Forgot about Gracious Revenge. fatal promise (park ha na), and others. Just wanted to write to serve as validation that there are others who feel or share the same opinions as you do about a few long dramas! I find that mydramalist, certain drama pages for i.e TKEM and others, got out of hand and a deterrence due to bullying for difference of opinions. I hope you will continue to enjoy dramas; we all need forms of entertainment amid this difficult time! Do you notice that some actors/actresses select only long dramas as acting projects? I heard good things about Come! Jang Bo Ri; I really like Oh Yeon See. She was hilarious in Come back Mister! Have you checked out the Korean version of Suits? I have an affinity towards Park Hyung sik. ;P. Of course, who can forget What's wrong with Secretary Kim? (Kang Ki Young; 2nd/3rd SL is always comedic in his roles.). Woo Do Hwan and Moon Ga Young are great actors/actresses as well. Please continue to be lost in dreamland. :) I find dramas from 2012 to 2019 are better than some of the newer ones. lol Can't wait to hear more from you.

it's getting more exciting now at the end of ep 60 damn I'm hooked to this and Phoenix 2020, meanwhile regular…
@sunset Thank you for your post! I thought I was the only who feels this way about this drama and Phoenix vs other current dramas (at times I put them on as 'white noise' while I run/work)!

You might like A Place in the Sun. These days, I also find myself revisiting other favs: A Korean Odyssey (kdrama), Chronicle of Life (c-drama), and High Society (k-drama due to the 2nd couple)! Ashes of Love and The King's Woman are my go-to as well for the chemistry between the leads, etc. Stay hooked and do share your favs as well. Stay healthy/happy!

Updated: Not only am I not fast forwarding, I find myself rewatching episodes because some of the scenes are just so adorable/enjoyable!
On Find Me in Your Memory Mar 26, 2020
This drama has captivated my attention sans fast forwarding. I find myself fast forwarding scenes or simply dropping lots of the other current kdramas but NOT THIS ONE. Others have been raving about CLOY; tbh, other than some eye candies, that show was lackluster for me. All aspects of this show appears to be more thought out and better than others (I'm not novice to Asian dramas). I hope you'll give this a chance. :)

I don't know how long you have been watching, kdramas; but they have always had love triangles. It's either two…
Unasked family, never twice, and beautiful love, wonderful life are better than GR, in my humble opinion. I'm also checking out Chocolate. Can't wait for Love Alarm II! Tale of Nokdu was pretty cute as well.

Looking forward to Lee Min Ho's and Kim Soo Hyun's return in 2020!

lol not really a new thing, those kind of annoying characters have always existed in k-dramas to add more drama/make…
Check out 'Unasked family' and 'A Place in the Sun'; I like both of them better than this one. :) Enjoy.

Thanks for your candor; I hope we'll continue to enjoy dramas. It helps when there are 'eye candies' involved. Have you checked out Unasked family? (Rooting for the single mom and the ML to be together!) I personally like truncated and shorter dramas but am finding myself investing in these long dramas. such as GR, UF, and Life is beautiful... Please share your latest favs when you have a chance. Happy Holidays! :)

Gracious revenge has a similar plot line and again, clingy 2nd fl who refused to let go. I personally like Unasked family (rooting for the single mom and the ml) slightly more; like you, I can't seem to enjoy the shorter dramas (recent ones) and dumbly investing on these LONG ones i.e. Love is Beautiful, Life is wonderful. I hope you'll continue to enjoy dramas; I find that other countries dramas are either too long or annoying to watch with the exception of a few Chinese or Thai dramas! Happy Holidays!

It’s irrelevant on duration of viewing kdramas! I don’t like the depliction of Asian females as clingy even if it makes the drama more interesting as an Asian female myself. Agreed on time for change.
