I LOVE grey leads. The ML cracks me up. He knows she treats him like a male escort but he is exactly where he wants to be so he doesn’t even fight back and just undresses. LOL. He is soo in love. Also, him being a toy boy scholar who is jealous of her actual husband is wild.
Have you noticed in the last episode how the FL’s body language changes when the 2ML tries to touch her or be close? I love the subtlety…like showing how she instinctively grabs the ML’s hand and arms. She never does that with her sweetheart.
And let’s talk about the purity of the FL’s feelings and how we see her slowly falling for the ML without realising it herself. Her whole body language shows that she’s drawn to him (notice how stiff she becomes with the 2ML even if she says all the right things). She is truly discovering what love truly is - the 2ML can clearly see it as her whole stance on life has changed since she’s met the ML. And her running into his arms spontaneously. Girl is gone gone…
This has the be one of the best written MLs…and I love how quickly the twists are being revealed. It makes things more fast paced and exciting. The fact that he already knows his identity!!
And how amazing does the ML convey the internal turmoil he’s going through. It’s clear for us viewers that he already wants her but is trying hard to control himself for the sake of loyalty…while looking for glimmers of hope.

How do you know she is not his bio daughter? I mean, that would make sense and explain why her mother is encouraging her to elope with Mao (while knowing his identity).
