I have a feeling that the ML is not the actual son-in-law somehow....
You should stop watching now with this childish mindset. That’s ridiculous that you would be turned off by a man who wants to get married after his wife died.
The ML is so obvious about his attraction to the FL in a funny, twisted way. Love how he never miss a chance to comment on how angelic her face is and how the sister is jealous of her beauty.
Novel readers- could you please spoil me with some nice, romantic events happening in the book between the leads? Do they fall in love after or before marriage? Thanks :)
Ok now I understand all ML's actions. He is basically vetting her and doing his own screening for his wife to be as he needs someone strong, smart and cunning who won't hurt his daughter. She is indeed the perfect candidate. He's also not threatening her but more so covering for her so that she doesn't get discovered. He already knows everything she did. He already knows he will marry her, hence being on her back.
ML is seriously hot. I wonder if he purposely put the hairpin in her hair in front of everyone to show people that he is interested in her? I believe a man wouldn't do this to a woman he is not fond of in this era.
The chemistry between the leads is the best I’ve seen—sizzling. It’s my favorite. The visuals are also top-notch.…
Hey it's been a while. Have you come across any other similar dramas I may have missed? Still trying to find something that can match this type of chemistry....but can't find any :(
Also, after watching many historical/fantasy dramas I can confidently say that the ML is the smartest and most devoted lover of them all. No one can convince me otherwise. And he is not smart in an unrealistic "I'm a genius fool" type of way. He is smart smart - as in high IQ but also very emotionally intelligent. I am really impressed at how they showcased this - he reads the room and can read her (body language, unspoken words) so well. He is also deeply flawed as he can't control his emotions but without crossing a line of no return - he is extreme but never to the point where he becomes pure evil or nasty. That is the reason why I still rooted for him despite his temper. And the reason why he is perfect for her. Only he can accept her and handle her for who she is.

Same girl, I haven't watched many dramas with this type of chemistry. It really bloew my mind. It is so rare to see such a grown way of portraying romance (and intimacy). The passion and desire between these two was soooo palpable. I keep on rewatching scenes,
Yet another trash from kdrama industry.Another pure virgin ML who never been with any women or even looked at…
Ok but why is this actually an issue? I know a few cases like this in my entourage. It's typically the opposite that is portrayed (virgin girl, experienced man) so don't understand your fake outrage.
